This place is the real deal. Best neighborhood Mexican spot in Avondale!
Very disappointed in the service that was received. The young lady at the cashier had a poor attitude. There was a misunderstanding on the ingredient of a dish where we asked for no onion and she understood add onion. Instead of taking care of the issue she decided to raise her voice and say it was our fault for mentioning onion when onion isn’t in the dish. When it came to pay she insisted we pay for food that one we did not pay & 2 did not got remade. We paid for the food entirely and left quietly but she still had a mouth full to say. A young gentleman helped us pay the tab and from behind she decided to say “what r u saying” when we were done addressing the issue and just wanted to leave.
I hate to see employees to argue with customers. I hope she was having a bad day and not the way conflict is resolved.

Came in here for the first time and ordered a torta dinner. Every Mexican restaurant is different so I wasn’t sure to expect, I ordered my meal and confirmed that I would not like avocado or onion. (I hate onion so I always mentioned no onion just to make sure some places don’t mention all ingredients. My torta arrived with onion, I went up to let them know and the cashier/ server started to catch an attitude instead of admitting to a mistake that was made on both ends. We paid for the meal at full price and she was still running her mouth and basically saying that I was in the wrong. Paid for food that we didn’t even eat. 1 the didn’t correct the mistake, her attitude was off putting so we just left in completely.
As someone who works in the restaurant industry for 6 years and is currently a server that’s wildly unacceptable behavior

Went on a slow day. Three steak tacos + complimentary chips and salsa. The food was brought out in a timely fashion and cooked wonderfully. Staff was also very helpful
