TARY is a fantastic little cafe located in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood, offering what seems to be fusion between traditional Kazakh klassics and modern American cooking styles.

I must admit, the rustic decor and furnishings really does make you feel like you’ve stepped foot into a little Kazakh babushka’s living room!

The coffee is excellent.
Diners seemed to like the food. I was challenged by what to order. Not vegetarian friendly. Staff where pleasant.
