I have been going here for quite some time maybe around 2019 and I love this coffee shop so much! They have delicious coffee drinks, roasted beans are amazing, and best of all the pastries. The guava and cheese pastry is so flaky and fresh, and their pan de bono is another favorite. I always get both when I go! This shop has gone through so much between medical issues by the owner, floods, and other structural issues, but they keep coming back. I will always support them!! My dream for them would to have a better structural support for their benefit to reduce hardships and a nice indoor space for seating. Regardless I’ll keep coming back!! Thanks for being a neighborhood favorite and gem.

Very small space inside, very limited hours, but it was very much worth the side trip to go.

In house roasting, unique pastries with Cuban flair, and very friendly staff.

The coffee was excellent and pastries very good. May be better next time to order for take out with how small space is though.

Glad to have heard this place is back again after some more turbulence! One of the best roasters in the city.

(Edited/previous) 1) Their coffee is excellent. 2) Their ability to make it clear whether they are open or not is atrocious. Don’t go out of your way to go here on the weekend because more than half of the time they will not be open. Has been this way for years so management can’t be bothered, I guess. A shame because the quality is great. 3) fret not, they do seem to have these beans at random grocery stores in town. Ive found them at Cermak Produce and la Casa Del Pueblo Supermarket and don’t hesitate to buy because their roast is so good.

Really sorry to hear about what happened. Hope that gets sorted soon. Where do you have this information up online? Because all winter I’ve kept looking and not seeing anything in your facebook or instagram or website.. there’s no note on the door. Would be considerate of your customers to actually post that somewhere visible.

First time on this shop,great service, people very friendly, and of course the coffee and sandwiches are excellent,,I definitely comeback,!!

Delicious treats and smoothies! The owners are very sweet and make all the pastries by hand. Try the ginger carrot muffin!

My second time coming right before the Metra train - they were super sweet about the rush and recommended a delicious drink: the blackberry green iced tea made with real fruit. The pan de bono is always a favourite too.

I found this gem by chance. It was a cute, quick stop for Amazing coffee and delicious treats. The woman who greeted me and prepared my order was very nice, engaging and welcoming.

I ordered a rose water, cardamom latte which was PHENOMENAL! I have Middle East and Hispanic roots and it definately took me to flavors of back home. The Columbian drip coffee was delicious and fresh brewed. Drinks paired nicely with a savory cheese and guava treat; Almond croissant (Never had this as fresh and flavorful as here. Absolutely try this!); finally a little cheese croissant.

For a quick stop and fresh, delicious coffee and treats, this place is a must.

Wow! This is such a little gem. Awesome coffee and espresso drinks made with care and skill. Delicious pastries and sweets. Such kind and friendly service. A great place to stop on the weekends!
