Taverna 1821 is a fabulous spot with a really nice space, offering both outdoor seating and indoor seating with a lot of natural light. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, creating a nice, homey vibe with incredible hospitality. The restaurant is a solid choice for happy hour or a drink, with a good selection of drinks including a frappe-tini and an impressive pour of wine. The food is amazing and delicious, with favorite dishes including yaya's chips with feta, fried zucchini, greek meatballs, chicken souvlaki, tzatziki, spanakopita, fried halloumi, and lamb skaras. The fried zucchini is crispy and comes with a fabulous parsley tahini sauce, while the greek meatballs are served with a great sauce. It is a wonderful place to enjoy good food, drinks, and a great atmosphere.
