Tastes amazing!
My friends and I visited this store a little over an hour before closing not knowing what time the store closed . The single worker who was there didn’t acknowledge us but I assumed because they were busy making drinks— fine. Well one of my friends and I ordered drinks and the worker never called for us to grab our drinks nor sent the confirmation text— we let that slide because we thought “well maybe we didn’t hear them call for us to grab our drinks”.
Fast forward to closing time the worker never walked over to us and say “hey we are closing soon. Just want to give you a heads up.” The employee let us know it was closing time by turning the lights and music off and never acknowledged us the entire time we were there. The employee acknowledged every other customer that was white or Asian during our time in the store but did not acknowledge three Black people in the store. Maybe race didn’t play a factor, hopefully it didn’t since you’re located in HYDE PARK. But, employ people who have the common sense and decency to acknowledge all customers in the store and someone who can open their mouth and say “hey, you have x amount of time before we close. Thanks!”
I probably won’t be back. That was just insane to just turn the lights and music off without talking to us.
First time here at TE’AMO and I’m so grateful I went. The atmosphere was clean. The mango jasmine oolong tea was refreshing and tasty. They had the amazing viral fruit shaped ice creams in all the flavors And can I just say Simon (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was so kind, generous, patient and encouraging. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Decided to finally give the place a try after 2 years and I end up getting more ice than anything else in the drink…
My drink came out very fast! Unfortunately, I guess that’s only because very little thought was put into making this drink.
This image is AFTER I shook and the ice had melted a decent amount with the ice nearly touching the boba when first served. I had to go back and remove the ice myself which left me a cup of less than half of it being the actual drink.
I had asked for a jasmine milk tea with boba and 100% sugar and what I ended up getting tasted like Water with 1% Jasmine tea, 1% milk, and 10% sugar at best(mind you that the ice hadn’t even fully dissolved! I don’t even want to know what that would have tasted like)
All I can say is I’m disappointed and upset
Amazing drink and service
One of my favorite boba spots near campus! Always love their ube drinks, boba, and coconut jelly— so good. Chill vibe as well!
Worst boba store for me
My friends and me had to wait 50 minutes
And same time during weekend
Why they only work one employee
Have always loved Teamo, been coming since it opened!! Amazing boba, donuts and more
Really cool spot to get a drink. They have different seating options as well.
Great place for boba, dessert, and a drink. They had lots of choices and cakes, and got the mango drink which was a summer deal for $11-$12 including a donut. The mango was very good and had some jelly at the bottom, but way too much ice, so the drink lasted only a little bit. This is a super expensive boba shop in my opinion, which small crepe slices over $10 each. They asked for a tip like most places do but the person working there didnt call my name, which was annoying. But a worthwhile stop after a fancy meal and great atmosphere

Mediocre drinks. A little too heavy.
Cute and a good place to study!

I usually come here since I’m a UChicago student and the drinks are usually pretty good
