first time ordering from here and last sandswhich was ordered with no ailoi and tomatoes but has both. no attention to detail. .
Honestly, this place is pretty faultless except for the prices. I got the Italian sub and it was great, maybe a touch overcomplicated, but great all the same. The sandwiches are about $17 and will last you maybe 1.5 lunches. I think an important aspect of eating in the US at the moment is that the inflated price should be offset by the size so you can mitigate loses through leftovers. This place had some of that, but it’s no Bari in that respect. Loved it, would come again, but not my favourite ever. Lovely staff and amazing atmosphere though!

Eat Local is a local Chicago food review channel on YouTube and these 2 guys, Sean Ely and Corey Wagner were right, Tempesta is magnificent....B. Franklin is a great and deliciously savory experience...how is this possible with fresh sliced turkey? WOW!
What I like is that you can enjoy every mouthwatering bite and not feel so full and sleepy afterwards...huge recommendation for everyone near this amazing establishment....Cheers Tempesta, you really are top of the line

I recently visited Tempesta Market in Chicago and tried their renowned Dante sandwich. Packed with hot sopressata, mortadella, Genoa salami, hot capicola, porchetta, provolone, hot giardiniera, and ‘nduja aioli, all nestled with fresh lettuce and tomato in a crusty baguette, this sandwich was a flavor explosion. The staff was welcoming, and my order was prepared promptly. For an unforgettable Italian sandwich experience in Chicago, Tempesta Market’s Dante is a must-try.
Dietary restrictions: Allergen friendly, their pesto doesn’t have tree nuts

Minestrone is too salty!! Is that chicken powder?? :/
Have ordered from here for many years. We always get the B Franklin and then sometimes the meatball sandwich. Always fresh and so good but….our orders are almost always wrong (3/4 orders as of recent were incorrect). I did reach out before but since it’s almost every time that our order is wrong (including today’s order) I don’t want to keep calling after almost every order….

The absolute best authentic Italian meats and cheeses in the area. The employees have always been very kind and helpful, even during the holiday rush. The sandwiches are great too.
