Not like it used to be Luke warm coffee Soggy egg white veggy omelet Raw to uncooked riced potatoes( not sliced) Pale barely toasted so called whole wheat bread But good wait service was appreciated I’m an old time customer when they were across the street many years ago. But, Nookies a better choice

Tempo Cafe was delicious for breakfast. Service was friendly, menu was great. It's a busy place for breakfast and I can see why . Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty. I definitely recommend.
Great food. Great Service. I feel like that's hard to come by lately, they have not forgotten the skill of great service

Solid diner fare, efficient service, great people watching, and generous portions. I think I was expecting an actual sandwich and not two open face egg/cheese slices but still good (solid hash browns). My dining companions enjoyed their breakfast skillet and chicken breast salad (raved about the French dressing that tasted just like Kraft Catalina).

Food was mediocre at best. Very basic brunch quality and nothing remarkable for the price. Service was otherwise fine but you have to fend off the bees if you try to enjoy the front patio

Very good breakfast/brunch food. Service was slow. Refills of coffee non-existent until we asked for some.

We had to find our server after waiting for 15mins. The food came and the server never checked back. There were side items missing. The avocado toast was embarrassing with one soggy piece of bread and barely any avocado. Very disappointing.

Best omelet I have ever had!! And I am a breakfast eater!! Mad that I found this place the last day I was in Chicago. Huge omelet served in a skillet, absolutely delicious.

The Omelettes were large in size but small in flavour .. ;) the hashbrowns were tasteless.
Very small tables but large plates made it difficult to put everything on the table. Atmosphere was hectic but service was trying its best to make up for it. Nevertheless orders were not served correctly and items got forgotten
The maple sirup was great though. French toast had great taste and texture but only very few blueberries on top.

Asked for the Jamaican omelette (off the old menu) They were happy to build the banana walnut & honey for me!
