We went there for brunch around 11 AM on a Sunday. It was a bit packed, but we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated, which wasn’t too bad considering the crowd. The service was overall good and the staff were friendly, but you could tell they were a bit understaffed. We waited around 15 minutes for the food to come out, which was reasonable, but when it came time to check out, it took quite a while before a server was available to help us. I seldom do Chicago without coming here at least once. That's at least 70 visits in over ten years. From their French pressed coffee to the bread service, it is tip top always.
