My boyfriend and I came in for a last minute dinner without a reservation and the hostess was able to seat us on the patio which we appreciated. We ordered the cacio e pepe and the focaccia, and they were both delicious! The cacio e Pepe was a little smaller than what you would receive at other restaurants, but it was just enough for one person, but I would keep that in mind if looking to share dishes.
Testaccio in Logan Square is a culinary oasis of southern Italian cuisine.Delicious and memorable plates freshly prepared by attentive cooking staff you can watch in action from the bar area.Service is top notch and the ambiance is homey and comfortable.
It was our first time at Testaccios, and we had a reservation as a group of 6 at about 8 o'clock. The table was half a table, half a booth, and it accommodated us all comfortably! The waitress was very friendly and gave some wonderful suggestions when we asked her what she recommended. She also made sure to ask about food allergies and/or sensitivity.
