Great food. We started with the kerala fried chicken bites which was crunchy and flavourful. Then we ordered beef fry & porottas and meen pollichathu along with a couple of beers. Although both dishes were tasty, we enjoyed the beef and porotta more. We finished the night off with a filter coffee and the masala biscuit!
The flavors are there but all of our food came out cold. It was not very busy, we were there at 5 PM on a Saturday, and there were tons of empty tables so we were confused as to how everything was cold. Service was fine, they use toast to order, so you don’t order with a server, but a server does walk you through the menu when you sit down.
Thattu has introduced me to one of my new favorite cuisines. Every dish, dessert, and drink I’ve had left me wanting more. Highlights for me have been the variety of seafood dishes and the beef fry. I am excited to try new dishes as they rotate through the seasons.
The atmosphere also feels warm and welcoming. At first it seems overly casual, but the staff are very helpful and the dining room has big bright windows. You can feel comfortable eating there family...
