This was our second time there and we went for lunch this time. The food held up to our memory of it. Everything was wonderful, just as we expected. However, the service was a bit spotty. They seemed short staffed. We were told when we were seated that at lunch we need to help ourselves to water and such. But it turned out that we had to help ourselves to all our tableware. We had taken our family visiting for the long weekend to the restaurant and everyone picked up something...
Because of the way the ordering system is, I didn't feel like the service staff deserved a large tip. I purposely only tipped $5 because everything is so automated and efficient...
Thattu is a favorite Indian restaurant My only two issues: 1) the app to order food is awkward for ordering for four people- that's why we switched to a very nice waitress 2) the noise level is high. With concrete floors, and masonry walls there really is nothing in the restaurant to dampen the sound level. This could be fixed.
