Came in for afternoon tea. It was overall underwhelming experience especially for the price. The wait staff was slow and the tower of bits and pastries left something to be desired. The sandwiches didn’t have enough filling and the sandwich with salmon tasted kind of old…it wasn’t a pleasant taste. Some of the pastries and sweets were decent and some were just dry or boring. We all got yuzu peach green tea which was the highlight. Also they charge $7 extra for getting 2nd...
One of my favs in the hood. The tranquil and charming vibe of The Allis are perfect on any day of the week. Love their shakshuka preparation, which is a must order whenever I’m here. The staff is friendly and courteous. Keep coming back for more!
We visited Allis last week for our firts date. The food was absolutely delicious, especially branzino. The staff was polite and welcoming. Our server Tina (or Nina) was an absolute gem, and menager Michael with an amazing energy, explening all about Allis and Soho house concept, spa, small bar up to the stairs. They offered great recommendations. Half baked cookie with icecream perfect way to finish our date night. Cozy and unique ambience.
