Our server, Dominique, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. We tried the nachos and Korean wings on her suggestion, and they did not disappoint.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with great music playing and an excellent selection of beers on tap. Whether you're looking for a place to hang with friends, catch a game, or just unwind with good food and drinks, this spot checks all the boxes.

Service was great—Kaitlin was friendly and on point. Drinks were solid as usual. We stopped in just for wings, which are normally decent here, but today they were dry, flavorless, and tough to chew—like they’d been sitting too long or overcooked. Disappointing, especially since the place is usually reliable. Hoping it was just an off day, maybe due to the game crowd.

This is a regular stop for me before hitting up Wrigley Field. The BT never disappoints. We had some great burgers and some great beers. Our server was awesome (as always) and it was a fantastic pre-game experience. Too bad the game didn't turn out that well!

This was a very nice restuarant and bar! My friend and I stopped in on a trip to Chicago this past week. The bar is in a great area, it's close to wrigley field and has lots of other bars in the area. We would to back here, the staff at this bar were very welcoming and quick with service. Shout-out to our waiter Kevin!! He was super nice.

Had my birthday party here with about 40 people and Rovy the manager made it absolutely fantastic! The space was big enough for everyone and communication was seamless. They even played the music we requested. Food came out on time and was delicious. Special shout out to bartender Gracie who was unbelievably kind! Thank you for making my day so special!! We will be back!

Stopped by The Butcher’s Tap on Southport after a Cubs game, hoping for a solid spot to unwind. Dropped around $45 on a Southern fried chicken sandwich and a couple of local drafts. The sandwich was just okay—crispy but kinda dry—and the beer selection, while extensive, didn't have anything that stood out. The place was packed, and we had to wait a while for a table, which was frustrating since they don't take reservations. Service was slow, and our server seemed overwhelmed, making the experience less enjoyable. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I expected more given the hype.
I have visited this place a few times when I come to Chicago. I love the dark wood, cool tap handles, and great food. They have great local beer options and the prices are not bad for the location in Wrigleyville. I would definitely visit again if I return to this part Chicago. There is street parking but depending on when you go you would probably have to get lucky.
