When my wife and I lived in Chicago, we would come here every buckeye game and trivia night. We unfortunately moved out of state but that didn’t stop us. Every year we travel from all over the country to see the OSU v ❌ichigan game. It’s always a fantastic time full of buckeyes. This year, traveling from Texas, we came to see our buckeyes at our favorite bar. We arrived early but were surprised that it wasn’t as busy as usual. We were greeted at the door asking if we have tickets. (We still receive newsletters and marketing emails but didn’t see anything about tickets). There is plenty of standing room but we were told to kick rocks because we don’t have tickets (no waitlist? Too late to buy tickets?). We travelled from Texas to be here, at our favorite bar. This year unfortunately ends the tradition and we won’t be back.
Best beer list for IPA drinkers in the city. Food is solid and atmosphere is great.
Ordered 2 bloody mary’s, each with an extra shot. The menu in front of us said $8 for a bloody. Fast forward to the bill and each bloody came out to $21/piece. Asked waitress to clarify, she said that she forgot to tell us that the prices on the menu are wrong. No offer to make it right. Place is a joke! I would (and will) go to literally any of the numerous other options right in this area.

I met 5 friends here a few weeks ago to watch football. It was my first visit, but they had all been here before and frequently go to Clover. All was going well until I had my second drink and began to feel very ill. I found something floating at the bottom of the drink and realized it was a zyn. It had been dropped in before serving to me. I do believe that this was accidental. I alerted our server, who was very kind and apologetic. She assured me that she would address it with the rest of the staff and make it right. When she came back to our table, she let me know that the manager removed the contaminated drink from the bill and comped a spinach dip that the group ate before I arrived. It seemed very insufficient for the situation at hand. The server did what she could, but management should have taken this much more seriously, they didn’t even visit the table. I don’t consume nicotine, and this incident made me ill for over 24 hours. I will not be back.

It would have been a 5 but the tables were all wobbly, too bad. Management needs to care for the entire experience and they failed.

Our second time. My mushroom burger, truly delicious. The fries, not only pretty yuck but the amount served with my burger was laughable and we were warned the quantity was going to be lame so we ordered a large side and those were also laughable in quantity and fully gross in quality..flabby and par fried...and over priced. The burger would have been well served to be rid of that joke of a side!
Atmosphere was beyond loud...all the screens on blast causing the groups of patrons to have to literally shout to be heard adding to the painful cacophony...only the lovely server and the extraordinarily delicious burger saved the day. Please make your fries worthy of eating for the love of Pete!

The lemon chicken club just changed my life
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had the pleasure of being invited into Butcher's Tap by the manager, and I have to say — what an experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch. Our server, Dominique, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. We tried the nachos and Korean wings on her suggestion, and they did not disappoint.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with great music playing and an excellent selection of beers on tap. Whether you're looking for a place to hang with friends, catch a game, or just unwind with good food and drinks, this spot checks all the boxes.
World-class service, chill vibes, and solid eats — what more could you want? Huge thanks to the team at Butcher's Tap — I’ll definitely be back.

Rachel was the best server and she made sure we were always good with our drinks and food. She was great!!!!!
Service was great—Kaitlin was friendly and on point. Drinks were solid as usual. We stopped in just for wings, which are normally decent here, but today they were dry, flavorless, and tough to chew—like they’d been sitting too long or overcooked. Disappointing, especially since the place is usually reliable. Hoping it was just an off day, maybe due to the game crowd.

This is literally the best burger I’ve had in the whole freaking city. Don’t even get me started on the freaking pulled pork sandwich! Wherever you are right now, get off your tush, and get to the Butcher’s Tap for a mouth wateringly divine dining experience!
Marriage broken? Kids got you down? Late on your rent? Feeling like returning to God?

This is a regular stop for me before hitting up Wrigley Field. The BT never disappoints. We had some great burgers and some great beers. Our server was awesome (as always) and it was a fantastic pre-game experience. Too bad the game didn't turn out that well!
