Sad to see this place has permanently closed. Tough to watch the demise of a once fun place.

This neighborhood pub has a lot of potential but needs a lot of TLC. It's in great spot and previously, really enjoyed this bar when it was Four Furlongs. Signage is confusing and even the emmployees don't know if it's "four Furlongs" ""Dickens Street Pub" Or "spider brewing". I live in the neighborhood and my boyfriend and I are big advocates for supporting local watering holes but this one could use some work. On multiple Sunday afternoons over the past few months we've walked or driven by to see that is was closed. What kind of pub is closed on Sunday afternoon during football season? The beers were good though they're out of their only stout in the winter. Not sure how Spider brewing is affiliated but when I asked if its the same Spider brewing from Bend, the bartender said "no, I think it's from Oregon. Let me see..." "oh it's from Bend, OR". The juke box is over priced but the service was good and the bartender did what she could to make the most out of the silence in the bar by playing her own music after I spent $3 for 3 songs. The disco light seemed unnecessary but this place has a lot of potential to get back to the glory days of its neighborhood pub status, just needs some love.

This is the Four Farthings location. The beer is made by the group who took over the location and is fine. The pizza is terrible and overpriced. Those old enough to remember Thursday nights at Four Farthings will probably be disappointed but it's a decent neighborhood joint to watch games.

First I should say we were there because four farlings was a favorite of some friends of ours who were visting from out of town and wanted to go back..... Positives: Luis who runs Karaoke was super chill and fun an amazing host. The male bartender working Saturday night was very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is that of a cool corner pub and it's very laid back, has huge potential. Now... the negatives: the whole back of the bar literally smells like strong URINE smell. The bathrooms are soo urine and body odor soaked it's nearly unbearable to even use them. The cost... We ordered two double vodka drinks and the total before adding tip was $43.00 as mentioned above this is a laid back corner bar I've never been charged that even downtown. Someone in our group order two wines and handed the woman $40 the woman gave her back a $10. The wine was listed at $9 a glass my friend asked for her change and the woman said it's tax which makes absolutely no sense, and gave her a real big attitude about it. I feel like this place has soo much potential but they are throwing it away with bad pricing, smelly bathrooms, and rude staff.

After braving the frigid cold from zoo lights, my girlfriend and I decided to come here for a drink. We liked that it had plenty of space to sit and another room with games if we wanted to play. We had two beers each and left. Nice bar and nice staff, no frills but enjoyable.

I came in here with my boyfriend and ordered chicken tenders and two drinks. I asked for bbq sauce and ranch for the chicken tenders. My bill comes and they charge me extra $2.50 for each sauce that literally was 1oz each. I ended up paying almost $17 for chicken tenders that were the same quality as McDonald's because this restaurant thinks it's appropriate to charge their customers $2.50 for each sauce. It's ridiculous and I think it's robbery. I will never come here again

Any food you order will just become pizza when it gets to you. DJ on Friday, will NOT search for a song you request to sing. (Mind you, he has access to YouTube and such). But he insists he only play "top 40 hits". Otherwise, the neighborhood is nice, parking was quick for a Friday night (day after 4th of july).

Instead of asking for info, I see the owner posted a response to my review. Insinuating I, the customer, did something wrong. Sorry, Debra, but I've never been kicked out of a bar. My volleyball sports league came here after a game and sat outside. It was not at all busy, yet we were treated like we were an inconvenience. So much so, that I remember it clearly 7 years later. Maybe you were understaffed and a large group seemed daunting to our server? Who knows? But I see other reviews commenting about unfriendly and unprofessional staff, so possibly check on these issues before insulting a customer.

Wanted some quick food before Zoo Lights, this place was close and apparently sold food. Upon arriving we find they serve only pizza. The pizza was fine and staff was more than accommodating to us and the toddler. Loudest sound system ever blaring college football announcers for a crowd of 1 other person. The place smelled of stale beer that I recall smelling while living in a fraternity house. Staff was pleasant. This tavern is more of a get drunk at midnight type of place, than have a pizza just before 4:30pm type of place. Come here to get blitzed, not for the food.

Wow! Great place to drink and enjoy life. The bartender Debbie is amazingly friendly. We are not locals but from Texas yet she treated us so awesomely Second time her and it is now a must come! The bloody may is an appetizer with a slider and multiple veggies. Lots of tv screens to watch your favorite game.
