I walked in when there was no line or people waiting around. I ordered a chicken salad sand-which and waited 25 minutes. I understand when it’s a rush or busy time of day, but there was no one in front of me. As I waited, I watched how staff gathered in the back of the store or did everything they could to not make eye contact/ask if I needed anything. When I politely tried to ask about my sand-which to the girl who was running out to-go orders (prioritized instead of the people actually waiting at the store) she looked irritated and quickly walked away without even letting me finish my sentence.
I know people have bad days and sometimes staffing can be tight but seems like everyone there tries to avoid customers. It’s sad to feel like a bother as a paying customer. Brought the whole vibe down and I don’t think I’ll be returning which is a shame because the food is so good.

It’s not cheap but I didn’t expect it to be. Excellent spot to pick up a sweet treat though.
Foods take forever and is old and rancid half the time. AVOID THIS

You would think the service would at least be good at a gentrified store like this but it’s not. Products overpriced. Service incredibly slow despite the place being empty (majority workers hanging out in the back of the store). There are far better options that deserve your hard earned money and I urge you to go to those instead.

No custom sandwiches? What? For years I used to order a hummus/LTO sandwich on rye. Apparently that's too crazy of a lunch order now. Lame. With so few lunch places in the neighborhood, you would think they could accommodate a sandwich. Nope.

Ordered off Thanksgiving menu and terribly disappointed with every dish. Very mediocre or poor. Flavorless stuffing. Vegetable pie also poor. Turkey breast ok. Cranberry sauce mediocre Only good dish was the shrimp. Nice size shrimp and lots of lemons and ok cocktail sauce. Even the squash soup was too sweet. Won’t be ordering again
Vegetarian options: A garden pot pie for two. Nasty. Almost inedible

I ordered the Thanksgiving catered dinner for two for our son. He absolutely raved about it, today! The pics and FaceTime presentation made us very envious. We’ve ordered quality Thanksgiving meals for him from other sources when he was living in Wisconsin. However, he said this meal was definitely better. Bonus points to catering manager (Tiffany) for helping to button-up the details and close the deal. We will definitely order again, next year. I very highly recommend The Goddess and Grocer catering!

They took a really long time for food order, and I had to cancel my order. Two simple items, chicken salad and tea. Had me waiting for 25 minutes and nothing.

I chose Goddess for lunch today because I was craving a bowl of soup due to the cold weather.
I ordered a bowl of Matzo Ball soup with my lunch.
What was included was ONE, LARGE, matzo ball, with a couple of onions and carrots (see picture). It looks nothing like the picture online on their website. And I could hardly call this a "bowl" of soup. More like a small cup. This cost $7....
In addition, the soup was room temp at best. I picked up the food within five minutes of it being ready, and sat down to eat within five minutes of that. I had to put it back on the stove and warm it back up for it to be edible.
Really disappointed.
