Food was not flavorful, meatloaf was very very nasty, Turkey Wings was dry even with gravy. Food not the same anymore. But desert place was delicious.

Everything was dry the baked chicken was leather the corn muffin was like eating a sand biscuit only thing that was OK was the greens and yams they were steaming due to the extreme heat of the warming lamps they more than likely use to keep the food warm. Absolutely horrible in my opinion for $20 I won't be back and cant recommend. They didn't even have any banana pudding just sad.

ME AND MY HUSBAND ORDER A FRIED CHICKEN MEAL IT WAS NOT ALL THAT THEY GAVE US REAL SMALL PIECES OF CHICKEN AND REAL LITTLE SIDES LIKE THAT WERE FIXING A TODDLER PLATE FOR ALL THAT MONEY WE SPENT I WILL NOT GO BACK OR RECOMMEND NONE OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO GO THERE

This isn't Soul food. This is yuck yuck. The chicken dry and hard, what was that Mac made with yuck? How do you make hard greens ? What's in that muffin? I will never ever eat there again

My first time and unfortunately I won't be back. The meatloaf was undercooked and the liver wasn't good either. I could only eat the sides which were good.

I got a smoked chicken combo with 2 sides for roughly 20$ I got a key lime pie from the good life market. Both the lady in the front taking my food was so nice and enjoyable. And the guy on the pastry side was very good in communication and terms. I spent 30$ on one meal. It's definitely and one treat in a minute. Very nice establishment. Good atmosphere nevertheless made me feel good. Good life 🧬

Oh man, this is a fantastic place! The food is super fresh, and everything tastes so good. If you're craving that classic, home-style soul food that reminds you of mom's cooking, you definitely need to check this place out. You won't regret it! They also make their own drinks and desserts, and they're both delicious and healthy. I will for sure be visiting this place again.

yesterday was my first time there and everything was fresh hot and good 👍😊

This food tastes like a 20 year old just made their first thanksgiving meal. I had the macaroni (very basic) nothing special noodles and cheese and a spoonful of it. Dressing which was like the dryest dressing I’ve ever had in my life but more like stovetop stuffing but more like cornbread. And the pot roast was just as unseasoned as any meat I’ve ever experienced. Nothing but roast and onions, slightly darkened somehow tasted like just meat no seasoning no veggies no potatoes just meat and onions.

This is my second time trying Good Life Cafe!!! Their food is good! And made with love!!! And you get nice portions for the price you pay!!! And the desert shop located inside is to die for!!!!! Please if you like sweets , but don't like overpowering sweet, they got the goods!!! Just go !

I stopped by The Good Life Soul Food yesterday and ordered four sides. It took about 20 minutes just to get a few cups of food, which was surprising. When I finally got my order, everything was loosely thrown into a plastic bag and the juices had spilled everywhere by the time I got home. The food was also only room temperature after that wait.

On top of that, one of my sides was wrong. I ordered string beans but got dressing instead, and the dressing was pretty bland. The only positive was that the customer service was friendly.

I hate to leave a negative review, but this was my honest experience.

Not as good as it used to be but it’s a good spot when in need of comfort food. I enjoyed vibe of the new building. Customer service was wonderful as always. The sweet shop is WONDERFUL!!
