I’m a firm believer of, if you know better you do better. I went there yesterday, the Mac and cheese was bland, not cheese at all and the candid yams was extremely dry, I had to go home and doctor them up, wasn’t my intentions to cook. The gravy was a tad bit salty. Oh Dressing is not dressing without the cranberry sauce. The customer service may have been the only thing I was happy with… sorry!! I will return hopefully it’s a better experience.
I love to come here for lunch on Fridays. I have always enjoyed my meal and the options are wonderful! This is a good place to come grab a bite of down home delicious eats. One of my favorite soul food places in the neighborhood.
Great food and prices are decent. Long lines but that is the norm for places with gd food. They need to work on their staff handling rush times. I suggest One staff solely for refilling trays, another just orders, and hv a unified system for writing orders on boxes, SChkwht=smothered chicken white. Otherwise this is must visit spot, they have 2 other soul food places close so they hv competition.Great work, black operated, nt sure uf blk owned but a g8 plc 2 experienceSoul food...
