The Halal Burger (Inside Seven Restaurant)

Best place for halal food, everything is fresh, the place I would suggest to visit.

I ordered from here thinking it the classical “The Halal Burger” on North California Avenue and realized later that it’s not when delivery driver started driving from Randolph street in downtown instead of North California Ave in North Chicago.
Obviously not a match with the classic one.

Seven Bar and Restaurant is the actual spot-a bar on 7th floor of a residential building. When I walked in, all I could see was the Bar and when I asked for the Halal Burger,the Bartender said “we serve it from here”! Sketchy.

Maybe myself and the other positive reviewers got lucky on their first order from here but I went back a month later and I now understand why it has such poor reviews. Food may be good but the terrible service is enough for me to come back and edit my previously 5-star review. May God help the owner of this place

Do not believe the last positive review written most likely by the owner himself based off what he said and his review history. Shows the integrity of these people. This place is horrible. Ordered through Doordash because we wanted a halal option. Biggest regret. Should have ordered haram brands and got hot food faster. Got my food one hour late. No ketchup with my fries? No utensils. No straw. No napkins. Do you guys not realize people need these things to eat. What a way to ruin the experience. Fries were cold, stale and dark (they don't change their oil frequently is most likely the issue here). The pizza was cold, cheese hard as a rock. Paid for extra sauces and did not receive. Do you guys not double check your orders before they get sent out? Will never eat there again, need much improvement. Hopefully they listen to the feedback and respond with a positive attitude, otherwise its more reason to keep this one star and stay away.

Ordered my pizza at 12 am it took them 2 hours to deliver the pizza. I WOULD RATHER PAY MORE ON UBER EATS THAN ORDER ON GRUBHUB!

Meat lover pizza was amazing. We used Uber eats and it came warm. Really tasty!! I’m confused by the bad reviews I would definitely order again next time I’m in Chicago. Try the pizza only. The burger wasn’t the greatest. AGAIN THE PIZZA WAS REALLY GOOD FOR MY HALAL MEAT LOVER FRIENDS.
