Overall, a great experience, the few times I have been in! The seating inside is extremely limited, but if you're able to get a seat at the bar, the staff are friendly and do a great job keeping up with the demand. There were some smaller tables inside, away from the bar, but the majority of the seating is at the bar, which can sometimes feel a bit chaotic when people are coming up to order drinks. The drinks are a little pricy, including the non-alcoholic beverages, but the selection was great. The outdoor patio is heated and cozy!

This is a fantastic place that blends a lot of classic neighborhood bar elements with some higher end cocktail bar drinks. Affordable domestic beers, $8 beer and a shot special, really tasty cocktails ranging from light and refreshing to heavy and flavorful. Can bring food in and has a massive outdoor patio with heaters. Dog friendly and nice to be able to spread out a bit.

I was so excited to check this place out. It’s absolutely stunning. The service outside was insulting. My friend and I wanted to split a frozen drink and the bartender refused to use two glasses. She was visibly annoyed that we had to ask for a glass. She said we could do it ourselves and it was against policy!? The drink was spilling from the cup and she didn’t offer to even clean it up or give us napkins. She was one of the weirdest people I’ve ever met. I spent a long time in Chicago Hospitality and she sucked. We still tipped her adequately, but she might need to find something else if she hates making people happy.
i kept seeing this place on my ig feed and was honestly really excited to check it out, especially since it’s dog-friendly too. and i love humboldt park. i went with my sis and ordered drinks on the outdoor patio. one of them had two small flies in it when we received it, which means it likely got in during prep.
my sis politely asked the bartender if he could remake it. instead of just handling it, he got kinda defensive (which is fine i guess) and said something along the lines of, “that’s what you get for dining outside.” he did agree to remake it, but then muttered loudly, “it’s the ELEMENT,” clearly meant for us to hear lmaoo
dude, was that last comment really necessary? like, does that mean all outdoor patios serve food and drinks with flies in them? i mean, i don’t care if it happens while i’m eating because- of course that’s the ~element~ but we literally just received it. you couldn’t take two seconds to glance at the drink before handing it over?
my sister and i used to work in the service industry for a long time, and we still do part-time. so i for sure know we weren’t being difficult. we just wanted a clean drink, especially for $14 😭😭
there are plenty of dog-friendly bars with better service and chiller vibes with GOOD element. :) i’ll go to those instead. i’m sure he would want that too, as we don’t respect his elements lol

Incredibly difficult to get a drink at the bar even when there are no drinks being made because there's no dedicated bar spaces for walkup you have squeeze between people or wave down a bartender which is kinda annoying for everyone involved.
This place is huge and has a ton of seating but no easy way to get drinks when the bar seating is full.
