Food was delicious, I ordered shrimp and grits with a side of eggs. The amount they give you is well worth the money and is very filling. My date had the banana pudding waffles with chicken. Enjoyed our food just hated sitting my the door. Requested not to be by the door, they didn't complete my request

Went to Chicago last weekend and was in need of good soul food. This place was a 10 out of 10! Every worker there treated us like family, they were helpful, patience, and kind. The food was just as good, I ordered chicken, macaroni, greens, cornbread, and a drink. Everything exceeded my expectations and I want to travel there again just for this spot.

Ohmygoodness! This restaurant had the best food that I have had in a very long time. I ordered the mac and cheese, grits and chicken wings. Each item was delicious, perfectly seasoned without having to add anything to it and generous portions. Our server, Davi, was amazing. Explained everything, was attentive without being annoying. Thank you for a wonderful experience! Only negative was that after multiple searches, I could not determine if they took reservations or not...
