Every visit to The Lobby at the Peninsula Hotel is a true pleasure. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, the service is always impeccable, and the overall experience feels special from the moment you arrive. Whether it’s for a relaxing afternoon tea or a quiet, luxurious meal, this is one of those rare places that never disappoints. I absolutely love coming here from time to time—it’s become a favorite of mine—and I’ll always look forward to coming back again.
Kim and Uvaldo were very friendly and we appreciated engaging in conversation with them- it allowed us to build a rapport and feel welcome. The food was delicious- no complaints at all there other than it taking a long time to come out especially given that there were only 3 other tables. We come here from time to time mainly for the food and the familiarity with some of the staff, however, it's WAY too quiet and the silence can be uncomfortably deafening. We would return...
It was delightful to sit by the large windows and look out at the Chicago skyline while enjoying a relaxing, quiet and delicious lunch. Service was friendly and the food served promptly and tasted delicious.
