As always, Shanghai Terrace was fabulous. They have the best Peking duck in the city. Service is amazing.

I have loved Shanghai Terrace for more than 20 years. For the first time I was disappointed by the food. I suspect they have a new Chef who is using new recipes instead of the tried and true. For example, the Golden Shrimps were not golden. The Hot and Sour soup was not up to par. The best part of dinner was dessert! As always, service and the setting were as good as ever.

Shanghai Terrace offers an exceptional dining experience with its authentic Chinese cuisine and beautiful setting. The menu showcases exceptional dishes, including the renowned Peking Duck, as well as delectable lobster dumplings, spicy crispy beef, and scallops with truffles. The dim sum and hot and sour soup are also highly praised. The service is excellent and attentive, and the outdoor seating is perfect for a summer evening. While on the pricier side, the restaurant is worth the splurge for a special occasion, providing some of the most delicious and beautifully presented food in the city.
