The Lobby Lounge - Loews Chicago Hotel

Stayed here for Juneteenth weekend. We came for a drink at happy hour & for a late evening meal on another day.

For happy hour cocktail it was gin so we could make whatever cocktail we wanted with it if they had the ingredients. We ordered a French 75 and an Elderflower collins, the gin was good & cocktails were good.

For dinner we ordered the club sandwich & fries and Brussels. Absolutely delicious! Our waiter was very attentive and personable, an absolute pleasure. The hospitality within the area was great as well as the food.

Was there on a Sat. after the Air show and had a few ice cold $5 beers. The bartender was great, personable and professional. Nice little pit stop, would deffinitly go hang out again.

Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered cocktails that turned out to be non-alcoholic (which wasn’t clear on the menu), so we asked for alcohol to be added. Instead of adjusting the original price, they charged us nearly the full price again just to add the alcohol — we ended up paying $34 for one drink!

To make it worse, they randomly added a $40 charge for “open food” in the middle of our check, and only explained it afterward as some sort of “gratitude fee” — without our knowledge or consent.

Amazing views amazing food and wonderful service. This place is very elegant and had some of the friendliest people serving us. It was quiet yet fun. Not too loud which is really nice but very elegant and relaxed at the same time. Very inviting and perfect lighting day and night. I will def be back to the Loews very very soon.

A fabulous place to relax while having the necessities in life within reach. Plenty of outlets to charge. Full table service. Full bar. Clean. 5-Star service. I prefer The Lobby Lounge than cramp coffee shops.Limited comfort food MENU is made for sharing with fine dining prep and execution. The best big bowl of worthy $8 fries — perfect crunch yet soft and moist. Addictive.
