Cocktails leaned overly spirit-forward and were difficult to finish, even off putting The food lacked depth and seasoning. Service was competent. The space itself is very charming and well designed.

I had a fun evening at the Meadowlark. A cute spot for a date with tasty cocktails.
Perhaps much more importantly, I had feedback for the Meadowlark that was received and taken very seriously by the management team. They reached out directly to me as a follow-up. I appreciated their communication and willingness to hear my concerns. That really sets them apart as a business who cares and want to be integrated within the community.

Best drinks in Chicago, staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. I had the pleasure to try the Composition Book menu and the new Ad Astra menu, both menus have amazing drinks for all types of people. If you don’t want to taste too much of the alcohol try The Moon or The Sun, they are great starters and if you love alcohol like myself would definitely try Neptune or Jupiter. If you are into cocktails or want to know how a balanced cocktail should taste like go here you won’t regret it. Also the kimchi fries are a must.

My partner and I came here tonight to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. The hospitality is always amazing every time we come here:). Allison (the name on the receipt) our bartender I think her name was, was very pleasant and made us really great cocktails. We’ll be back to try more drinks, the menu is amazing. Thank you!

Cocktail bars are a staple in Chicago and this one is my favorite to take people to. It’s a pleasant surprise in Logan Square and the drinks always blow my mind away and the vibe and decor are exactly what one would look for in a classic Chicago cocktail bar. A must try!
My wife and I have always wanted to try Meadowlark when we are in Chicago visiting friends and glad we finally were able to. This place is considered one of the best cocktails in the US if not the world from what I hear. The cocktail themes are fun and delicious. The Bartenders are very knowledgeable and incredibly crafty with their cocktails. Services was top notch and friendly. The vibes and aesthetic were on point and relaxing. Highly recommend cocktails from the Childhood activities for grown-ups menu. Wife and I had the Ice Cream Truck and Daydream cocktails. My friend had the Movie Night and Snow Day also very good.

Great cocktail bar with amazing vibes and immaculate drinks. It was solar system theme. I had the Venus and earth both were really tasty and easy to drink. You really couldn’t go wrong.

Echoing the other 1-2 star reviews, it’s very pretentious place. It’s just another bar— there are hundreds like it in the city except those will fix your drink without an attitude.

Can’t say enough good things about my experience here. Waz quoted a long wait, but it wasn’t too terrible for a Friday night- and wow was it worth it. The host in the bartenders were friendly, the ambience was cozy and perfect for winter, going to keep this one on the short list to impress someone coming from out of town- or a just a treat for myself. My boyfriend said it was one of the best drinks he’s ever had and I’m still dreaming about mine. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy and atmospheric intimate enough for a date night, and they always have inventive cocktails on the menu. The hospitality makes the whole visit feel personal.

You're paying for the speak easy gimmick. Drinks were weak. Cool atmosphere and fun menu, but those were the worst drinks I've had in Chicago.
