This place has a cool, hip vibe and it’s fun to eat at the communal tables. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great variety of beer and creative craft cocktails. Food is beautifully plated and delicious - make sure to try the potatoes, baby gem salad and hanger steak.

I was impressed by the food quality. Fish is rarely my first option, but I tried and it was incredible. The fusion and sauce has a perfect equilibrium. I’d love to go back and try other dishes.
What I didn’t like was the shared tables, but I guess it’s their concept. Music also too loud.

Zero complaints about the fried olives, burrata, fettuccine, cod, and sticky toffee pudding. The restaurant also boasts an extensive spirit list with a variety of non-alcoholic options, and a great beer selection. The staff is attentive, polite, and dedicated to providing great service, consistent with excellent service and a knowledgeable but sometimes slow server. Union offers a sandwich deal on Tuesdays that includes a sandwich, shot, and beer. The restaurant is welcoming and comfortable, with classic, tasteful wood and brick decor.
