Momo World serves up fast food in a laid-back setting. Their street food, like the tandoori momos, packs a punch in flavor but their food can be greasy. Overall, it's a decent spot for a quick bite, especially if you're into momos.
They make one of the best momos in Chicago. Literally, both the skin and the fillings are what you'll get back in Asia. The dipping sauce too. It's that authentic. I'm also a fan of all their sekuwa. The price is so reasonable compared to the quality of the food there.

We took a work group of 14 for a first ever experience with mono’s. We had all kinds of taste buds and some nervous eaters - but everyone in our group loved this restaurant and food. We asked the staff to order for us plus we added some biryani dishes. Very casual restaurant. Great staff. Great food and a good time had by all.

My favorite takeout place in the city!! The food and The flavors are off the charts. Highly recommend the tandoori, Momos and the chicken chow mein. The owners are exceptionally nice sweet people, and the quality of the food is very consistent. Support a local business by getting takeout here!!!

Nepal shares a border with China, but their noodles seem to have missed that memo! These noodles were so devoid of vinegar and soy sauce that they decided to take on an Indian masala curry persona. Forget these noodles; your homemade Maggi is a gourmet masterpiece in comparison. Warning to my fellow food adventurers: ordering these noodles will lead to culinary regret!And let's talk about the dumplings – they were so undercooked, they could've moonlighted as ice cubes. The chicken in the noodles was like a tough puzzle to solve – it was okay when grilled, but after bringing it home, it morphed into a piece of dry refrigerator chicken. Bon appétit!"

The momos were SO good!! We got the tornado fries, chicken tandoori momo, the butter chicken momo, and gulab jamun. We really loved the chicken tandoori momos! As someone that has never had momos before I really enjoyed it and the chicken tandoori momos were true to their name and super flavorful. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Delightful little place for some handmade momo's. They come steamed (plain) or drenched in delicious, aromatic, and buttery sauces. We settled on the Butter Chicken momos, the steamed pork momos, as well as the cauliflower, peas, and potato curry. The steamed pork momos were very good, as were the Butter Chicken momos. Tender wrappers, aromatic and flavorful fillings, and yummy, nutty dipping sauces make the momo experience something remarkable.However, the vegetable curry fell just short of our expectations as it lacked deep strong flavors and the peas were a bit hard.Great casual stop for if you're in the need of new experiences, flavors, and tastes.

Great small family owned restaurant! The momo's were all hand crafted/pleated and you could taste the traditional Nepali momo taste. Definitely worth a try for everyone. The traditional Chicken Jhol Momo is a staple and if you are feeling adventurous, def try the Chipotle Momos!

We arrived there on a Saturday night , 40 minutes before closing. We ordered Mango Lassi, Chicken Tandoori Momo, Chicken Butter Masala Momo and Himalayan Tornado Fries. Service was great, the staff were friendly. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Food quality is superb. Even though it was 40 minutes before closing, everything came fresh and delicious. Great portions , the food was better than expected. We have had similar experiences like this in different places, but could be one of the best Nepalese food we’ve had so far. Great little place for exploring a whole new cuisine: Himalayan! Counter service. We bought WAY more than 3 could eat just to try things. Very veggie friendly, but chicken versions were also available. "Medium" did it for us, but you can kick it up or down. No alcohol, no beef, but one goat entree. Here's a bad picture of the storefront and sidewalk seating. Park in adjacent garage for $3 for 2 hours.
