Husband and I spent 25 dollars on two very small drinks. Didn't stay longer than 10 minutes. I think this spot is probably better suited to a first date/hookup and not two people wandering around.
very chill spot love the vibes
I like this place is elegant and the employees very polite.
Fantastic dive bar vibe with an interesting crowd and great drinks. Had a great time dancing too!
Quirky place with a fountain behind the bar!! Fun crowd and good cocktails.
Run place to go dancing in the back of the bar on weekends. Open super late! They also have local music on weekday night occasionally!
We walked in too early before open(we thought it was 5!) and this guy gives us some drinks and was our best friend! Great bar!
Great place mixed crowd very good for socializing mostly ever body was dancing I had a good time
Slowest, laziest and dumbest bartenders I've ever encountered anywhere in Chicago. DJs don't know how to mix music. Save your time and money and go somewhere else with your friends.
Ahh yes, the Owl. This place is the definition of number one bullshit. Not sure if they are under new management, or the water supply that all of the workers drink is tainted but they should not be allowed to work without adult supervision. The doorman reminded me of the cross eyed horse from Family Guy, blankly staring at my ID trying to calculate the date in his head, the hamsters were working overtime but eventually he realized I was well above the legal age. Once inside, we stood at the bar for what seemed like all night and didn't get served. The two bartenders for the 100+ patrons seemed to be busy, but a sloth could sling drinks faster than these two fucks. I've worked in the industry so I understand what being busy means, but the laziness of the bartenders was second to none. The economy is good so good help in bar is hard to find; The Owl should win an award for hiring the most incompetent bodies that ever stumbled into the industry.
Good Logan bar, with a dancefloor in the back ?Easy parking there.
Sunday , Feburary 9th 2020! I had the most humiliating bad experience with the bartender. I paid! a 200.00 dollar bill and because he felt my tip didn't meet his standard he persuaded to get rude and Yell at me saying "Never come back here again" beyond other words of foul language! Again a 200.00 dollar PAID! The tip I gave was the only cash. I had on me at the time. and as much as I come there. I would've remembered and gave him more the next time! I only had 10.00 on me. But as frequent as I come to this bar, love it. and have brought many people. The bartender on sunday! was very rude, unprofessional, and ignorant with his behavior over a tip. I do not recommend The Owl anymore do to unsavory character working behind the bar and I will be contacting Better Business Bureau, because I still highly upset it was unnecessary not to mention I have called to speak with a manager and haven't recieved a call back yet...
Solid 5am bar, kind of funky interior. Not nearly as bleak as a late bar can be.
Would give 0 stars if I could. We got there for new year's eve, and the guy at the entrance didn't check our IDs. The bartenders were the most rude we found in the entire city, and when we were forced out by some uneducated people, the clown at the entrance took my 2 beers (16 dollars, bought less than a minute before) and thrashed them into the bin without even letting me talk. The crowd was cool, but this place was the most disappointing experience I had in my entire life. Plus, the smell is really bad and the music awful. Stay away if you can!
