Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
The food is on par with Applebee's or outback but the prices are triple and the servers are snobby. I was in casual clothing and talked down to while those in business suits were treated like royalty.

Love the energy here!
The giant dry aged porterhouse steak was like butter and the Gigi salad was delish!

We visited The Palm during Restaurant Week 26, Jamie was our server. The food was exceptional, seasoned well and generous portions. Our server was very attentive, her timing was awesome. As we finished our bread, the appetizers were brought, and she recognized when we may want another drink. Excellent experience, definitely will return.

This Restaurant Week dinner menu was outstanding and quite the deal. We enjoyed the petit filet, shrimp with linguini, mashed potatoes, green beans, garden salad, meatballs, cheesecake and chocolate cake. Whew! We ate until satiety and still had plenty to take home. This is the real value add we all need when dining out is a luxury. Highly recommend!
I have been to the Palm at many locations and always had a positive experience. Unfortunately, my visit this past weekend was not the best. Our server Cierra was fantastic. She gave us prompt and friendly service. She noticed that my son was battling a cough and provided him a cough drop, which was greatly appreciated. The issue was with another server waiting on the booth next to us. She engaged in a conversation with her party that turned into loud, profane political rant. This displayed a complete lack of awareness and training that one should expect from an establishment like the Palm. I had my 8 year old son with me who heard words that he had never heard before. The restaurant was mostly empty so her outburst was clear for everyone to hear. I didn't complain on site because my son and I were exhausted and I didn't want him to endure more than what we already experienced.

The Palm was perfect for my birthday pop-up. There were festive birthday glitter items on the table & a happy birthday sign! Our server, Charlie, was great; very attentive & informed. We enjoyed our late lunch J&J beverages. The cocktails were nicely festive & tasty! Highly recommend The Palm!
Alondra and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and nice and caring. I love the great customer service here. I will be coming back here especially for the fries

📍 The Palm (Steakhouse) Often just called The Palm in Chicago — a well-known classic steakhouse located in the Swissotel Chicago. It's been a dining staple for decades with steaks, seafood, and an upscale atmosphere.
Great steak with nice service. The crab cake appetizer is the best that I've had in Chicago
The service was impeccable-the food was delivered exactly as ordered and was delicious along with the presentation. Definitely will be back again. To get a party of 10 without any complaints from anyone in my group is a very unusual experience. Perfect.
I just love the poem! It has been a tradition of ours for 35 years. When we attend the traditional magnificent Mile holiday kickoff in Chicago! It started out a long time ago as part of a board of education obligation, but we have since made it just a wonderful tradition for our family. How lovely all the transitions have been and still the service and food is extraordinary! Yay!
