Brett, one of the bartenders, got me out of a depressive episode when I was thinking about an ex. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’d give it 6 starts but black rock restricted me to 5.

The food, the drinks the staff everything feels upscale without you having to necessarily break the bank, you can if you want to, but you don’t have to lol.This is the place that you need to go. Deny that I brought a group of friends they had some amazing live music, and I looked like a champion of Chicago for knowing THEEE place to go.

This is SUCH a nice place to have a drink at night!!! Since they've got some live music, which is very fun while you're enjoying their fantastic drinks and that is something that we can only dream of because the bartenders are so nice and happy to help that the whole place itself is just one of the greatest experiences to have on a weekend night! The Pearl Club is such a vibe! The second you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into this cool, moody lounge that’s equal parts classy and cozy. Perfect spot for a date night or catching up with friends over drinks.
Cocktails? So good. The Pineapple Express and the specialty shots (secret recipe shot from the bartender) were my favorites, but honestly everything I tried was amazing (and super pretty too). Food is on point for a cocktail lounge — the sliders and chicken bites hit the spot.
The staff was super friendly and attentive (especially the GM Isaac) made the whole night feel easy and fun. Definitely one of those places where you end up staying longer than planned because you don’t want to leave.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a stylish, laid-back spot in Chicago with great drinks and a fun atmosphere.

This bar makes it crystal clear they don’t actually want customers to stay. The staff practically push you out the door while you’re still trying to enjoy your drink. Nothing kills the vibe faster than being rushed out for no reason.
If you like spending your money somewhere that treats you like an inconvenience, this is the spot. Otherwise, skip it—there are plenty of places nearby that actually appreciate having customers.

I’ve never left a review like this before, but people need to be warned. We went out for what should’ve been a fun night at this cocktail bar, and instead ended up with our credit card information stolen shortly after paying our tab here. We didn’t use our cards anywhere else that night — it was very clearly connected to this spot.
On top of that, our waitress was incredibly snobby and dismissive the entire time. For a place that acts like it’s high-end, the service was anything but.
Whether it was someone on staff or poor handling of payment security, this experience was shady at best and downright unsafe at worst. I’d strongly recommend taking your business somewhere that values both customer experience and basic integrity.
