This bar had a really awesome vibe but the service was awful. It seemed like Serina (spelling?) was the only server for the entire place. There was a guy walking around that only filled waters and another guy in a suit that only ran our card when we wanted to cash out.
We waited forever to get drinks, ordered food which I suspect our server never put in. We only ordered fries and after 30 minutes we decided to give up and close out. We were only able to get 3 drinks total during the 2 hours we were there because our server didn’t check in on us much.
Skip the table and order straight from the bar I guess if you actually want to get drinks and food in a timely matter.

Walked in. Decor is pretty cool. A bit too snobby for me. Ask for seating for 5. Put us in a corner built for 3. Not very many people in the place. We pulled a chair from the next table so we all could fit better. Manager with tacky plaid shirt was extremely rude and said this table is not reserved for you. Seriously there was no one sitting on the back wall and maybe 4 people at the bar. Then said . Tables are reserved.. due to 50 people could walk in at any given moment. Then walked away in a huff. Why not accommodate the people you have in your establishment first instead of hoping a large amount of people will walk in. On a Sunday night at 9:30 pm 5 friends celebrating their birthdays together. Boy that really put a damper our evening. We left went next door to Richard’s and had an absolutely amazing time. So sorry The Pearl club we will not be on any agenda of returning.
Best vibe of any cocktail place in Chicago right now. What an awesome interior to admire whilst you enjoy a wonderful beverage.

I asked a local friend for a reco for a bougie, but laid back dark and moody cocktail bar with lounge vibes. This hit the mark! Awesome cocktails. Try the Voodoo absinthe one. Bartender Ashley was fantastic and made me an off menu chartreuse cocktail after telling her I loved chartreuse. Met some friendly locals as well. Will def be back. Thanks for a great last night in Chicago. ???

Have been here several times for pre/post dinner drinks. The atmosphere is chill and welcoming lounge which can be intimate for 1on1 groups or bigger groups (think 4-6 probably at the most). The drinks are always delicious and the small plates I have had are also very good. My one knock is service can be a bit slow (not making the drinks, that is to be expected with cocktails of this level) seems a little bit understaffed. Nothing egregious but usually we are there when it is not packed (pre dinner or late night) and having to wait a couple minutes for the host to return to stand, or server to initially come take order (10+ minutes). Servers returning to check in after initial order/take next order was the slowest and most annoying (c’mon I wanna spend money!) - but nothing that wouldn’t make me want to come back (obviously) for now. Basically don’t be in a rush anywhere or pre order your next drink before you need it because there may be a big gap before that server comes back.

I felt like this was a scene out of a movie. I felt like John wick at the continental.. very beautiful speakeasy.. really chill and low key vibes.. parking can be tricky.. other than that
no complaints.. I’ll see you all again soon

This is the sort of place where the photos, website and social media over promise and the experience under delivers. They seem to be trying to serve high end drinks and food but they don’t quite get there.
They were out of stock on two of the signature cocktails and one of the dishes. Given that they have a limited menu, a couple of outages kind of matter. Then, of what we did order to eat they had to substitute some of the ingredients in those dishes.
Our waitress was unable to describe several of the dishes and drinks on the menu and was generally not very attentive.
Once we did receive the food and drinks they just weren’t as good as expected, the portions were too small and quality wasn’t great.
I saw this place on instagram and the photos made me want to go…turns out their social media manager is excellent but the rest experience doesn’t match. It’s not worth money. I’d try somewhere else.
