This place closed down unexpectedly and with no notice. This made it impossible to cancel this reservation to make another. Open Table was no help as they no longer have customer service.
I made a booking many months ago to ensure we could get a table. It was the date of our 40th wedding anniversary so wanted it to be special. I also advised on the booking under 'special occasion'. Despite all the confirmation emails etc. when we arrived at the restaurant there was no record of our booking!!! Even showing all the emails and reference numbers they could not find anything! To say this ruined our evening is an understatement. Now I receive yet another email asking me for a review.... Food and service was good, everything else ruined.
My husband came in on 9-23 for our 1st anniversary dinner. We had a 7:00 pm reservation. It's was a absolute crazy experience getting on the elevator. 3 women working downstairs had no idea what they were doing. Our line got moved 5!!! Times. However finally they figured it out and got us in the elevator. Getting off was a little confusing because there were people standing everywhere and it was so loud. We knew it was going to be busy but not this busy. When I got to the desk I let them know we were okay waiting for a window table and would sit in the lounge. They gave us a number and told us it would be a hour. After a hour in 90 minutes my husband went down to check on our table and it was ready. We got to our table and our waiter came 15 minutes later so luckily we had drinks from the bar. When she came she greeted us and asked us if we were celebrating anything we told her our first wedding anniversary she so we'll take great care of you guy especially because we traveled 3 hours to eat here. We'll our starting dish never came. Our waiter never came to check up on us. Our food came super delayed. One thing we did like was our water was constantly filled up by the waiters helpers. For spending as much as we did we both won't be back. This was on our bucket list and I wish it wasn't. For fine dinning this was not it. It was SO loud also we couldn't hear our waiter half the time. The only plus was the fireworks we saw during dinner. Just now next time we know when we spend $300+ on dinner it won't be here.
Very beautiful restaurant with amazing views. I was very disappointed that we didn't have a window table for my wife's 40th Birthday. Didn't even have a window seat. When I made the reservation, it did ask if it was a special occasion, so I did fill that out but why ask that if you're not going to do anything special for the person. Otherwise beautifully place and the food was wonderful.
Service was great. From the time arrived and got on the elevator until we reached the check-in desk everyone was very cheerful and helpful. Our waiter was fantastic. He engaged in conversation to ask if we had been there before and told us about the items on the menu that we had questions about. The food was delicious. Overall a great experience. Thanks
They gave me a small table against the wall. Had to argue with the manager to change table. The food was very underwhelming. $140 for a “tower of seafood” which consisted only of a dozen oysters, a dozen cold shrimps and 2 cold lobster tails. I've had much better in San Francisco and in many other places, more fresh and for better price. Now if I was paying for the view, then I almost didn't because I had to argue with the manager not to sit me on this claustrophobic little table against a wall. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone!
Front reception was rude. Reservation's for 7pm and stood till 8pm to be seated. Paid for personalized menu and restaurant forgot to provide. You can tell they overbook reservations and could careless about customers. Dress code was not in effect. People wearing ball caps and t shirts with jeans
Excellent servers! Bob, Damien were the best. Damien entertained us. They gave us a great table. Will definitely be back. Everything was perfect as we celebrated our 41st anniversary. Thank you for a wonderful time. The food was excellent!!
The Signature room has the best view of Chicago. The service and professionalism were stellar. The food was average however. Given this is a very upscale restaurant based on ambiance and price, I expected the food to taste “chef” prepared. It was not bad but very average. I most likely would go to the lounge before the actual dinning option. The appetizers at the lounge were very good.
It was a beautiful experience.. for my sister celebrating 68th bday. Although my server was informed in the beginning, she never made an effort to sing happy birthday with a cupcake or anything... that i could have paid for it. It wasnt very busy time and she was just standing around. I could have taken her to regular restaurant and they will make a big effort to celebrate her bday. I will definitely hang at the lounge next time.. much better place to celebrate.. very dissapointed in that part.

It is an absolute must for proposal or of you want to impress clients and family. Its not some place that I would visit or choose to dine as as the food and drinks are just OK. What's impressive about this place are the stunning views of Chicago.
Remarkable view, great service, good menu and fun experience. Parking expense needs to be curtailed. There were many people of modest means attending with their families and friends. For those people, it was hard to smile when price gauging at the parking lot put a damper on their visit.
We had such a great time. Good sights with family and laughter. Many families came up and asked if they could get a picture at our spot. We where so happy to share for the short moments.
It's a nice place for dates and exploring the city. However they were not accommodating to my partner and I. We got there about 30 mins early. Requested a window seat and was willing to wait. we ended up being seated not even 5 minutes later 2 tables from the window ? bummer. Our waiter wasn't all that honestly and didn't try to up-sale the wine. Didn't really explain the menu or any suggestions just a bland guy. The lamb chops were so tiny and like i always said chicago is so overpriced/ overrated. I expected better service and accommodations.
It was very nice with one big exception. It was our anniversary and I ordered personalized menus. They looked great but they spelled my wife's name wrong so they are useless now. Her name is Mary and they wrote May.
