I’ll start by giving kudos to whoever does your social media marketing, It’s definitely what got me in the building! The food was great. The service and atmosphere were great. The waitress was attentive and offered good suggestions. The thing I didn’t like was looking up only to have dog dining right across from me. This is not an outside, not cheaply priced establishment…the canine was not appreciated:(.
This is my second time here at The Vig and i must say the service here is outstanding. Huge thank you to Dawn and Mel for their customer service. I fell in love with their Cookie Dough Cinnamon Roll my first time coming here. Unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu as they’ve made some recipe changes but the Killer Skillet and the McDowell Burger was absolutely outstanding! Whoever reads this review and is deciding on whether they should come here or not…do yourself a favor...
The Vig West Loop is a really nice spot, pretty big space and the host was lovely! At first, service was great, but later on we kept getting helped by different servers, which felt a bit confusing but not terrible. The food was yummy, we got the beet & ricotta salad (rich and flavorful, with that perfect mix of sweet, sour, and salty), and the calamari was tasty but could’ve been a bit more for the price.
