An older facility that has had some updating. The room and beds were very comfortable; however, the bathroom was designed for munchkins. Two people cannot get ready at the same time due to the design of the sink/vanity, placement of the toilet and tub. Otherwise, I would have rated a 4
I am never sure what to expect when staying at a hotel within a club. The Union League Club more than met my expectations. The common areas are impressive. Had multiple meals where both food and service were a positive experience. The gym had lots of equipment and very few other people in the space. The location is perfect for walking to all of the attractions in downtown Chicago. The price point is a good value realtive to other hotels in downtown Chicago.
I have been to a wedding here and to a luncheon and the architectural detail to each and every floor here is so beautiful. The wood work, the art collection, and the people who work here are so wonderful. We attended a wedding in September and it was flawless. The food was a taste sensation.
