Yes, have your coffee here and yes the almond croissant is delicious. Love Intelligentsia coffee and this is my favorite Intelligentsia coffee shop. It’s been around for a long time and feels very Chicago.
Expensive ($5.31) coffee, but five stars because it was tasty, aromatic, and fresh. Coming in here the Friday before Christmas at 10:30 am, I expected this place, like many in the Loop, to be empty. But almost every table was full. It's right across from the courthouse, so if you want to see lawyers in suits, drinking coffee, this is the spot. Friendly staff. great place for a coffee and do some journaling. there are some good sized tables to do work but i'm not sure if they have wifi, so it's a great place to journal, read or do some offline work. the coffee was good and the barista was very nice. there's also a selection of coffee goods and merch for purchase on the
