As a Mexican cafe, I expected more flavor from the food, specifically the chilaquiles and the grilled chicken sandwich. The chilaquiles sauce was alright but lacked flavor and spice. The “grilled” chicken was in fact not grilled but boiled and had no flavor. The water on the table was cloudy and has something in it (we assumed squeezed lemon) but was just regular water. The service was okay, getting checked in on. The atmosphere was lively as it was very busy.
Great food! Highly recommend the chilaquiles. The food is comforting and feel like you are eating at your mom’s house. Portions are great! They do get very busy on the weekends. Be patient, as the staff does their best. Call ahead to get on the waitlist!
Came here for breakfast and ordered the Chilaquiles. The portion was generous, with perfectly crunchy tortillas covered in warm, flavorful salsa. The side of potatoes was crispy and seasoned just right. Overall, a very satisfying meal!
