Finally got to try an Italian beef sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. Huge sandwich at a decent price. I barely had time to put my credit card back in my wallet that my order was ready 🤪. The beef is juicy and delicious. I also liked the hot peppers. I had mine with extra american cheese but it didn't really add much, the beef speaks for itself.

Pro tip - if you order it with hot peppers they come on the side. I was too excited and forgot to check, ate the whole thing without realizing 😂

Been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint. Service was great and waiting time isn’t long, I would definitely recommend the Italian beef combo, and the Mexican grilled chicken sandwich if you’re looking for something more spicy. Overall fantastic experience and I highly recommend coming to Tony’s.

Tony's breaded steak sandwich is one of my top 10 favorite things to put in my mouth. I come here a lot to see my bf and sometimes i even get a sandwich to take home. My bf told me that I'm only in it so i can have Tonys meat lol. Come get some food here so we can keep him open and i can keep getting my favorite sandwich.

Stopped by Tony’s Italian Beef on Pulaski—spent about $15 on a combo beef and sausage with sweet peppers and a side of fries. The beef was juicy, the sausage had a nice snap, and the giardiniera had a unique twist with garbanzo beans. Place is a classic—tight space, fast-paced, and the staff keeps it moving. It’s a South Side staple that doesn’t disappoint.

A lot to say about this one. I'm going to start off with the breaded steak. I have to say 2nd best in Chicago! A very close call to RicoB's . The Beef, A great beef! In the top 10 in Chicago for sure! Probably the most meat I've seen in a regular sized beef probably double the meat of most establishment's. And they have a larger version! the beef was very very tender, even some of the top rated places are still a bit rubbery, NOT Here! cooked to perfection. The gravy was excellent! A unique flavor that I thought made it really stand out! I'm happy I got the giardiniera on the side or I probably wouldn't have noticed how well the gravy stood out. If I had to really be picky and say something bad? i think the beef itself could have probably had more seasoning, but the gravy more than makes up for that. (again, that's me really being picky!)Giardiniera is your standard Chicago Giardiniera nothing fancy but works perfect with the food here. my wife got the cheese fries i think the cheese sauce might be in house made very unique consistency and flavor that paired well with their skin on fresh cut style fries. I normally would give 4 stars for something like this. but i gave 5 across the board because the things i liked were above and beyond done right! i briefly talked with the owner and he said his grandfather and father started it and I think he is doing a amazing job of carrying on a great family legacy! i look forward to my next visit to try more menu items where i will update here.
