We came here after a day at the Art Museum. We stopped at the bar outside the restaurant before our reservation time. It was relaxing but nice to look around and entertain our eyes. The bat recommended a nice bottle of wine which we had with the free bar snacks. We were able to carry our bottle over to the restaurant to finish it. To start out with the host was very pleasant. The gentleman that greeted us at our table and served us our water was as well. Our waiter was knowledgeable and listened to my husband explaining I was a vegetarian and gave me some suggestions. We had the tomato and burrata for the appetizer. It was good we’ve had better but perhaps to other people this one is better then what we had at other places. You never know. The breads were soooo good. We have been trying to eat more healthy and it was really hard for us to not eat more than one piece each. We split a wedge salad and it was plenty for both of us. I got pasta and my husband got a steak that was cooked to his liking. It’s been a couple of months that we were there so I will try to come back after looking at the menu to remember exactly what the pasta and the sides we had to review them. What is so important to me is how nice everyone was.

My friend and I went here for their High Tea special and had a blast!! Everything from the desserts, to the sandwiches were delicious. They even accommodated for my dietary restrictions, and we got to try a lot of the tea. I recommend coming here!!

Beautiful bar and lounge! Camillo was an excellent server and Ronald at the bar took great care of me. He made me one of their signature cocktails (the Chiaramente Perfetto) which is delicious for gin lovers. The ambiance here is intimate and gorgeous, there are different seating options so you can grab a drink at the bar and then enjoy a meal on the restaurant side, I love the versatility. Their flatbread was surprisingly delicious and I ate way more than I should have, lol. It is pricey but it’s worth it if you’re looking to treat yourself or if you’re looking for a posh spot for an intimate date. The staff is friendly and won’t overwhelm or fuss you. I definitely recommend this place if you’re feeling lavish.

This is an expensive restaurant in a very fancy hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago. So it’s essentially everything you’d expect it to be. Gorgeous atmosphere with delicate touches, friendly service, and great food. Our server and the hostesses were very polite and checked in regularly throughout the meal. The French toast on the brunch menu was excellent. Lobster eggs Benedict, what could be better than starting your day off with that! Perfect hollandaise and tender yet rich lobster. My only critique as that both the hash browns and breakfast potatoes were very bland- unlike the rest of anything else we tried there. But I would love to come back again and try their dinner menu.

It was OK. We love staying at the Ritz and it just wasn't quite up to Ritz standards. The food was pretty good, mildly creative. But at least it was creative! Our waiter was good there seemed to be no hostess and maybe they were a little short staffed?

Overall this restaurant has an excellent and welcoming ambiance in particular and it's very different from other restaurants. The decor was very appealing and elegant. The food was okay and not too crazy. A little expensive on drinks. I was very shocked by that.

The two pairings of the Torali Burgers with Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Chateau Petit Freylon, respectively, were superb. All in all, a lunch with a wonderful ambience and conscientious service. Thank you.

Excellent meal. Father had the salmon bruchetta and rainbow trout, said they were both amazing. I had the steak sandwich that was very good and the french fries were nice and crisp. I also had the chocolate cake with caramel for dessert. I can't say enough about the cake ( I'm a sweets person). I would go back just for the cake.

Wonderful brunch experience! Delicious food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. I'd start with dessert first as those far exceeded the quality and size of the appetizers and entrees.

We had a wonderful, delicious meal during Chicago Restaurant Week. We are locally from Chicago, and live on a tight budget. Restaurant Week provides an affordable way to enjoy fine dining. The staff was attentive and friendly and did not treat us any differently since we were ordering from the Restaurant Week menu. We enjoyed the experience fully and would go back for a special occasion.

Amazing food, perfectly accommodating the food allergies of my daughters. Excellent service and atmosphere, as per the usual standard of Ritz-Carlton. What a great dinner to conclude the first night in Chicago.

Good food & atmosphere but more importantly our waiter Ahmad gave us the best service. He is one of the best servers that I’ve seen, not only with us , with everyone else I’ve seen I noticed he’s going above and beyond to make sure everyone gets a top notch service.
