We ordered the sweet and spicy (yangnyeom) fried chicken, which is usually a pretty safe, classic Korean flavour — but something was really off. There was a strange smell coming from the chicken that made me think maybe the oil they used was old? Not totally sure what it was, but it wasn’t appetising. The sauce also didn’t taste right — maybe it was the sauce itself, or maybe the batter or chicken wasn’t fresh. Even the pickled radish on the side tasted like it had been...
I got T2 Chicken. More pronounced oil over taste than I what have liked. But it was definitely delicious.Decent dine in space for a city hmart but gets really crowded very fast. Get ready to share tables with complete strangers.
Very good fried chicken! Highly recommend sweet & spicy and garlic flavors. It took ~25 minutes during non-peak hours, so I would recommend to place the orders, go for the grocery run at H-Mart and then come back to pick up the food. The side dish was also pretty good (radish?)
