Excellent Japanese food, very authentic.
The teriyaki chicken is not worth it. I ended up enjoying the sides more than the chicken that was tiny, too salty, and hard like it had been overcooked. Also, portions are small for what you pay for.
I first had the tonkatsu about a month ago when I was in town for an event and became obsessed with H Mart, lol. Once I got back home to Michigan, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Literally took the train the 4+ hours back for a 1 night trip for groceries and to have the tonkatsu again. It was the meal that bookends my trip--the first thing I had once I got to Chicago and the last thing I had before I headed to Union Station (which is also located very close by).
