Forget what the Chicago Reader rates as the best sushi in the city. Toro takes the (fish) cake! I've been coming here since 2017 and it has been a delightful experience every time. The food is amazing (try the kamikaze on the hill roll. it's sensational!). The staff is so friendly. The music is all vibes. Can't recommend highly enough!

I order from here almost 1 time a week. I love their sushi. It is fresh and good portions. Lately grubhub has had many issues with deliveries canceling or taking wrong orders. Today they went over and beyond after grubhub screwed up 2 times....they delivered themselves and added food in my order due to delay (even though not their fault). I highly highly recommend. And Dave (I hope that was his name) called me many times to support me in the process.....thank you!
i placed an order for pick up here for a quick snack and got the crunchy california roll (and added cilantro.) i really enjoyed being able to add and remove different toppings. the rolls were fresh, and delicious. boba tea next door too, great location.
My little son and I were picking up some sushi rolls for a family dinner and “sneaked” a couple in the car- we liked them so much we immediately called to order even more (and it was my sons first time eating sushi!!)- strong recommend!

We came in on a Saturday and it was not busy yet so we didn’t have to wait to sit down. They have limited seating and it is very cute inside. The server and chef made sure my special request was respected which was very nice of them. I don’t love raw fish so I got the avocado roll and sweet potato roll, which were both everything I wanted. I will for sure be back.
