I am really not sure why Tropical Smoothie gets such low reviews bc we had a great experience and will return to any location. This one happens to be on Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park right across the street from the farmers market. The place is clean and has lots of seating and even has charging stations underneath the table. Plus free WiFi and the smoothies are great. So many healthy options. And the wraps were good too. Came out warm and the chicken was juicy and the sauce was perfectly light and not salty and plenty of veges which I loved. Staff are nice and patients.

I went to pick up an order at 4:15 pm, Sunday, March 16th, and the employees completely ignored me. There were no customers. I said, “Hi, I’m here,” and all the employees continued to ignore me, and the order was ready. I had to go in and tell them again to get their attention. It seems like the employees don’t want to work. You guys pay them very poorly.

Did a walk in order under the name Nick. The cashier was obviously not paying attention. I specifically asked for a jerk chicken wrap but instead got a southwest warp!!!! I am extremely livid and pissed all the way off.

I drive almost 30 minutes back to my home after an exhausting day at work just to look that my order was mixed up.

I will follow up on this. This was extremely frustrating and upsetting. I can’t eat any egg at all!!!! Thanks for messing up my order.

Worst smoothie I ever had and the service was absolutely horrible.

I didn’t know Tropical Smoothie could be this bad. Employees that don’t care. Forgetting while parts of the order. Exceedingly long wait times when the store is empty. I’ll stick to Tropical Smoothies in the suburbs.

Tried the Hawaiian BBQ slider and it was awful. The bun was completely hard and stale and the whole thing is drowned in mayo. Usually I don't mind the food from this chain but this was bad.

This place has a bad attitude with people. They should not work in customer service.

Although I have been many times, I am not sure if I will be back. I was not allowed to use the bathroom until my daughter PAID, who was in line, for our purchase. I find it really awful that we were treated this way.

I had a disappointing experience at this establishment. As soon as I arrived, a staff member with multicolored dreadlocks informed me that there were no public restrooms before I could even place my order. My sister-in-law ordered a drink, but we ultimately decided to tell our family not to bother, as it seemed the staff were more interested in watching meme videos than serving customers. I’ve attached photos showing other customers waiting to be helped. Overall, it felt like an unprofessional and disrespectful environment.

Was one of the first ones there and it took about 45 min for my order to come out. We got no word of our food coming out late at all. Someone that came in 10 min after me got the food before mine and we ordered the same thing. Probably not coming here again they need new staff forsure.

Walked rly far to go here specifically, I have a kidney condition where I have to use the restroom a lot, by the time I go there I ran to the restroom and was like I’m going to order but I’m in pain and need to use the restroom. The person at the register said I had to order first and I was like I’m in so much pain please and she didn’t give up. I said I’ll just have a burrito or wrap or whatever and she was like which one? And was smiling as I was clearly dealing with a lot of pain. Felt disgusted. I’ve worked in the service industry for many years and there is always an exemption for sick or elderly and I made it clear I was there to order food. Will never ever return to this business I’ve always frequented

I totally wouldn’t mind the girl FaceTiming someone on her phone while I was ordering if the smoothies hadn’t taken 10 mins to make on a Thursday with no other customers in the store

Terrible service. Workers never made my order or even acknowledged it. Workers on the phone instead of making my drink. The drink didn’t even have protein inside of it 0/10.
