Fantastic experience. I’ve owned my Tumi suitcase for almost 6 years now and the handle had broken to the point I could not use the suitcase. As soon as I arrived, I was helped out by Susan. She was incredibly friendly and went right to work helping me fix my suitcase. She found a replacement handle in the back and fixed my suitcase right there in the shop within 15 minutes. As good as new!Experiences like this are what keep me coming back to Tumi. Great products, great service, and they stand by their product.

They were incredibly friendly, chatted with about my recent move to Chicago, while Maria got things sorted right away. I walked out of the store with new wheels in under an hour!

Tumi is not just for luggage. It offers convenience and an effortless, organized lifestyle. I love my 4 wheeled Oxford compact carry-on. It can fit underneath the seat of a plane.I was amazed when Maria (store manager) patiently showed me the function of all the compartments and features of each luggage. I realized my Tumi luggage is like a very tiny, small, super compact house. You can carry it with you to any place you want to go. People are always surprised and compliment how light I travel. I give credit to Tumi. It allows me to walk around effortlessly with my attached briefcase or tote bag to my luggage.Since then, I have bought many Tumi products for leisure, professional travel, and business gifts.I love Tumi's woman's collection. It makes you look chic and smart!When Maria is not there, Thomas is a big help. Tumi knows the traveler's needs. They listen and solve it. Some people think Tumi is expensive. For the quality, Tumi is definitely worth it.

A few weeks ago I wanted to go buy a backpack for husband at Tumi in the store. I initially made a conscious decision not to buy from Tumi on the website in order to support the local store.After we had done extensive research beforehand, I went to Tumi and wanted to buy a very specific backpack as a birthday gift. A consultation was no longer necessary at this point, because I knew exactly the model and the material.The lady who served me was initially super friendly. When she had noticed that the backpack is no longer available on site, she had offered to order it for me home. I gladly accepted the offer. However, after taking my information, she informed me that she could not order the backpack with the personalized initalia (unlike Tumi's website). Also, the backpack was $40 more expensive with tax when I ordered it from the store compared to when I ordered it directly from Tumi to my home. So, since I would have been worse off on both of these points if I ordered it locally, I kindly told the saleswoman that it would be better for me to order the backpack myself on the Tumi website after all.She reacted super unprofessionally to this, energetically slapped her pad with pen on the sales table and, ironically, wished me another nice day. With that, she more or less expelled me from the store.To all interested parties: The backpack is top notch. My husband is very happy with it and would buy it again. The store, however, I can not recommend. Sad, because you expect more professionalism there for the quality and the money.

Purchased my Tumi carry on elsewhere and called the store to inquire about engraving. Susie was super nice over the phone and when I went into the store. Engraving took about 2 minutes and came out beautifully! Wonderful experience :)

There was no problem with the store, but ..... I have a Tumi Alpha Continental Expandable 4 Wheeled Carry-On (it is similar) with two stuck zippers. One was crushed by the airline so it doesn't slide like it is suppose to and the other has damage to one side of the zipper so it doesn't slide. It cost me $25 to send and now they say they can't fix the two issues, (which are fixable in my mind) and want me to reach out to customer service for my "options" (BTW, the wheels are terrible and impossible to push/pull on carpet; my partner's Rimowa rolls like a dream). I am sure they want me to buy a new bag at significantly higher price than I paid for the original - I hope they don't want me to pay return mail (I am sure my tailor/shoemaker can repair).. Really sad... I have 7 Tumi pieces and this is the first one to need repair or resolution... not happy with Tumi response... In reading others comment, my experience seems sadly spot on with others.... I was looking at a comparable suitcase and we are talking 900-1200 for something with limited warranty and based on current experience questionable customer service. For others thinking Tumi - it is beautiful but it is not clear that they will be there is your zipper is broken...
