“Stopped by Bereket Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant at 333 S Franklin St for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the Adana Kebab—a flavorful skewer of ground lamb spiced with red bell peppers and fresh herbs, served with rice pilaf and a refreshing salad—for about $19. Also tried their famous Turkish Lahmacun, a thin-crust pizza topped with seasoned ground lamb, onions, tomatoes, and parsley, priced around $14. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. Great spot for authentic Turkish eats without breaking the bank.“

“Absolutely fantastic food.... There was a guy playing the piano on the East side of the restaurant. They also have outside dining if you want that. Everything was top notch. Turkish coffee martini was so so good.... I've never had one before but will def remember this one.“

“This is a Thai place that is fairly new to the area. I ordered Pineapple Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao, and Crab Rangoon. Wow— I love it! This may be my favorite place for Thai in Chicago. Spice level is perfect for those who love to eat spicy dishy- it is actually spicy, not American spicy.
Lots of Thai places don’t sell Pineapple fried rice which is one of my favorite dishes. It tastes perfect and authentic!

“I visited Cedars with my husband today and we cannot properly convey how much we loved it! The staff was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and the one detail that struck me the most was their treatment of everyone-open and caring. The food was epic; perfectly balanced seasoning, bright flavors, richness without heaviness, lovely fusion dishes and the absolute BEST crispy falafel I have had in my life. I felt so comfortable and at ease while I was there, which is a feeling I don’t usually have in restaurants. The ethos, celebration of community and cherished family recipes make this a one-of-a-kind dining experience, counting the days until I can go back! Thank you Cedars!!!! 🖤🤍❤️💚“

“I live in Dallas, and they don't have restaurants like this. I miss this restaurant so much that when I saw it was open, I got excited and ordered a lot of food...large and small turkey tips and a turkey Italian dipped. When I bit into my food, I was in heaven! I love that Just Turkey is still around, I wish there were more locations throughout the city.
Dietary restrictions: Great for those who are like me and don't eat pork or beef“
