First time here! First the service was beyond amazing from the moment I walked in - the host, after respectfully asking if I had any food restrictions, gave me a wonderful slice of coffee cake; led me to a table and was more than happy to sit me at different table next to the window and given a menu. The over atmosphere is amazing, fun decor, lots of seat, good vibes.
I was immediately provided an iced water by the server, and the waiter came over, introduced himself, I mentioned this was my first time and suggested four different items on the menu the were popular - which I greatly appreciated. I ordered a Portland Omelette with hash browns - which was good, but not amazing (I wish I had ores cornbeef hash… completely my bad)
They also have an amazing cocktail menu - strongly recommend the espresso martini (I’m on vacation 😅). And the fresh orange juice is fresh!
As I sit here the staff continues to be amazing; asking how I enjoyed meal, offering more coffee, and seem genuinely nice and good people.
I would strongly recommend to anyone in the area.

Stopped in for breakfast, and was very happy I did. Great vibes, food, and service. Indoor and outdoor seating is a nice option to have. Corned beef hash (my breakfast-place barometer) lives up to the hype, and is excellent. Will definitely be back. FYI, they are cash only (but, as with most cash only places, the prices are excellent).

Michelle Fire, your staff certainly fell short today. Only 1 other couple on front patio. Seated promptly and received coffee. Waited over 30 min to have order taken, had to ask for water for the dog, a other couple who came in after us had to ask for server to take their order. Server finally came to us to take our order when same couple was getting their food served to them. Im a great tipper usually leave 35% to 40%, not today! I told the cashier about the bad service and got a blank stare. Im one of Kie Gol Lanee's best customers and next time will wait for them to open to eat. Seriously disappointed!

If you have not been to Tweet do yourself a favor and run to Tweet! The food and staff are amazing. The art is Gallery worthy! A must visit when you are in Uptown! Check out the sister bar Big Chicks, where they make the delicious cocktails for both establishments!

My daughter and I flew into O’hare to visit friends and family. We headed towards downtown, looking for a place to eat. My daughter picked the spot and it’s amazing! The owner checked on us half way through our meal and she’s very nice. Our server was awesome. I forgot his name but he’s a former teacher from Philly. We walked through the restaurant to check out Big Chicks and we even purchased t-shirts.
My absolute favorite brunch place in not just Chicago, but anywhere. Food is consistently excellent and the service is even better (Rex is outstanding, but really all of the staff are wonderful). Love the free cake appetizers, fruit cups, eclectic tea pots... can't wait to go again.
