First time visiting Tweet - can't say enough good about this place! Overall 4 stars - 5 can be earned after future visit(s).
Atmosphere - clearly, all are welcome here (exclamation point), and the personal wall decor - love.
Drink - I reviewed Twisted Spoke (RIP) bloody a couple years ago as best in the 312 - the King is dead, all hail the Queen.... Smokin' Maria (classic style), ¡Fue fantástico!
Food - We had crab cake Benedict and corned beef hash & eggs. So nice to have a flat top seared cake v. the overly breaded, deeply fried grease clumps we see too often. Hollandaise sauce was silky yummy. The freshly made and cut hash was corned beef forward & chunky, hint of pepper/onion - the way it should be. Sides of potatoes - crispy brown shreds and well portioned. And the fruit was fresh!!! Imagine that....
We dug right in so the pictures don't give the presentation justice.
Service - Claire is a great find! A+ on shift #1!!! Great support / mentoring from Braulio. No hay perezosos aquí.
Miscellaneous - Dined on a Monday 1pm, no wait, chill / limited crowd. Walked, didn't pay attention to the parking sitch. Cash only (ATM on prem). Minimal outdoor seating is present, but not open today.

We had, as always, a great experience at Tweet!
The menu selection is so large, servers are funny and friendly, and everything just tastes incredible.
The decor inside is also very charming, lots of old pictures and nice art and such.
We tried the Crab Cakes Benedict (very good), the French toast (made with ciabatta, very nice), the Portland Omelette, and the Chilaquiles. All were mouth-wateringly good and would recommend any or all.

Everything I have tried so far is excellent along with the awesome service and atmosphere. The free coffee cake is to die for. They are usually very crowded during weekends but absolutely worth the wait.

Amazing food! The staff here are top tier as well. Ask for King Rex! He was a gem on top of our delicious brunch. Great options for vegans.

Go for the food. Go for the art. Just go to Tweet!
Tweet is a local favorite. The food is great as is the service. The owner has a huge collection of artworks by women, a tiny portion of which can be seen at Tweet. One of my favorite things about Tweet is their ability and willingness to accommodate the needs of people with dietary restrictions. Tweet is also a great place to bring kids, with child-friendly food options and other things to keep kids occupied while their adults get caught up. Especially in the holiday season, Tweet is the neighborhood destination for entertaining visitors. But remember to bring cash, since Tweet is a cash l-only destination.

I absolutely adored eating at Tweet. It is a qaint, cozy, eccentric restaurant. I went on a Sunday. It was very busy, buzzing with high energy, great food, and conversations. We didn't have to wait long for a table. Grabbed a drink at the bar made by a very welcoming bartender. I had the gluten free pumpkin spice pancakes and egg white omelette with chorizo, cheese, sausage, bacon, and ham I think. It was amazing! I definitely want to go back soon, especially while those pancakes are still on the menu! They only accept cash, and have an atm machine for convenience. Try it!

These are the best hash browns I’ve ever eaten. Everything else was really good, but the hash browns were a cut above. Was it tons of butter? Did you sous vide them? Those went so unbelievably hard.
