The food was okay and the lady behind the counter was so sweet. I asked to try a sample of something and she gave it to me without any problem.

i placed an order through ubereats. i ordered the chicken bbq skewer ($3.00), the pork bbq skewer ($3.00), the pancit canton ($8.99), the crispy pata ($18.00), and a side of white jasmine rice ($3.00). Before ordering, i read all of their reviews on grubhub, google and anywhere else i could find reviews for them. They have mixed reviews where its either the food is really good OR the food is not cooked fresh with orders missing items and/or unfollowed directions. Unfortunately, my experience was more of the latter. They didnt have the chicken bbq skewers so they gave me 2 extra pork. Thats really nice of them, but i would have preferred they just removed the chicken skewer from the order. i asked the lady why didnt she just remove it instead of trying to replace it, particularly without calling me first. She said she had already confirmed the order. i find that to be incompetent customer service. Read the order, and if there is an item missing, simply call the customer and ask them if they want it replaced OR just removed the item from the order. Dont go ahead and confirm it without addressing the problem. Makes me not trust you with my food. i ordered the pancit canton with no meat. It was loaded with chicken. i called them and asked them why was it loaded with chicken. She said it's premade that way and they cant remove it. So then why does your menu have the option of purchasing the pancit canton without meat? That makes no sense. Besides the fact that it had meat, the overall taste of it was extremely bland. The jasmine rice was way too soft for my liking. It was kind of mushy. The crispy pata was ok. Its not a dish for one person. About 5-6 people can eat on it. i had never had it before and really wanted to try it, so i was very satisfied with the experience. Very fatty outer layer, as to be expected with pig feet. Overall, pretty tasty. The bbq skewers was the best thing out of everything i ordered. i would probably come back from those alone. id give them a good 3.5/5 rating. Nothing to write home about, but certainly tastier than everything else.

I've lived in NorCal for long enough to know a good Filipino turo turo (literally point point) restaurant, and Bacolod's Best Kitchen (BBK) fits it. They have an abundance of choices of Filipino food from fried fish, veggie choices and meat galore. BBK also had some treats that I've only seen in the Philippines: piaya. It's a flat bread that's filled with a muscavado sugar filling and grilled to a golden-ish brown. The dough was flaky and the muscavado sugar filling was sweet, but not over the top. It's a sweet native to the town of the namesake of the restaurant, Bacolod. Service was awesome, and while we didn't have a meal there, the lady at the cashier gave us a few lumpiang shanghai for stopping in. Definitely will try and stop in for a meal, when we can. Hours are limited, so make sure you check hours before you go.

I'm disappointed that this is no longer a Filipino grocery store. It appears they only serve cook Filipino dishes. However when we arrive, food was sold out.

While my dandy friends were queued for Sunday brunch at Coxcomb? Chanticleer? (Most area restaurants are rooster-themed.) I went to Best Kitchen and got amazing food instantaneously for pesos. (The cool people just call it Best Kitchen.)I didn't go in but I'm assuming monocles are on the dress code at Coxcomb and on the menu is organic stews in a tin can on a plank of wood you keep on your knees--expérience culinaire l'hobo is $29 but they make you pay in non-fungible tokens.Best Kitchen is in a clean, well-lit grocery store. I spent $10 and didn't finish the fried rice.

This used to be a Uni-Mart location, but it is under new management now.Only the restaurant part is open, unsure yet if the owners plan on carrying groceries again with Seafood open. They have a good variety of food options, from some of the popular baked goods like pan de sal and hopia mongo, noodles like pan it and lots of meat options. Prices are really good and staff is very friendly and helpful.Definitely recommend if you are in the area and have a taste for any of the main Filipino dishes!

I ordered the crispy pata and lumpia delivery today. It was the worst pata I’ve ever had. It was very stale, like a left over or old meat that is just very very tough. Pata is supposed to be fall off the bone but this one ain’t leaving the bone no matter how much I pull. It’s like not cooked enough or something. Chewing it is even worst!! Omg it takes five mins just to chew one bite. Just a terrible quality food. The lumpia tasted ok but also stale. Can’t blame the delivery since I followed his update on the app and he delivered it very quickly. So it’s definitely the quality of the food! Bad!

only receiving 1 star because I must rate the restaurant I. Order to post a review. I just ordered food for my parents, I checked the Uber Eats app and the order was cancelled due to Bacolad's not being able to complete the order. I didn't receive an email notification either. Horrible service! Would not recommend since there customer service seriously needs to improve. Extremely disappointed yes.

This place used to be called Uni-Mart and I wasn't a fan of the food court section for years until I revisit this place which is now called bacolods best. This place is exactly how my grandparents made their food ! Thank you !

This used to be the best place to go for Filipino food but unfortunately they were affected by the new big Asia store. They recently posted though that they are under new management and hopefully this will help them improve their menu and bring back the good taste we use to love.
