I've lived in NorCal for long enough to know a good Filipino turo turo (literally point point) restaurant, and Bacolod's Best Kitchen (BBK) fits it. They have an abundance of choices of Filipino food from fried fish, veggie choices and meat galore. BBK also had some treats that I've only seen in the Philippines: piaya. While my dandy friends were queued for Sunday brunch at Coxcomb? Chanticleer? (Most area restaurants are rooster-themed.) I went to Best Kitchen and got amazing food instantaneously for pesos. This used to be a Uni-Mart location, but it is under new management now.Only the restaurant part is open, unsure yet if the owners plan on carrying groceries again with Seafood open.They have a good variety of food options, from some of the popular baked goods like pan de sal and hopia mongo, noodles like pan it and lots of meat options.
