My favorite pho place in all of Chicago. The owner, Danny, is the best! I get a pretty basic order (shrimp spring rolls and pho tai), but it never, ever disappoints. The broth is the best broth I have tried - flavorful, clean, lots of depth, and a hint of sweetness.Their other dishes smell amazing but I live so far from Uptown that whenever I go, I always fall back on my usual. Definitely give it a try!

Uptown Pho is the absolute best! I probably order here at least 3 times a month and they never disappoint. I’m a vegetarian and their tofu pho and tofu bun are both next-level. They also make amazing tofu spring rolls! My partner loves the combination pho and their pork bun and beef bun, as well as their spring and summer rolls (especially the ones with shrimp). The people who run Uptown Pho are also very kind and their delivery is efficient! I can’t recommend them enough. We’ve tried many Vietnamese places in Uptown and while they are all very good, Uptown Pho is our favorite.

Love this place. It's been my go-to spot for the past 4 years since I moved back to the northside. Today, I ordered delivery because I got covid. Delivered within 40 minutes hot and fresh, with tons of meatballs and meat slices. The soup is always soooo good. I've tried other pho places in Vietnamese Town but Uptown Pho still tops when it comes to how tasty the broth is. I can tell right away which broths did not simmer beef bones. 30 minutes since I've eaten half of my pho order and my chest congestion is almost gone. So if you have covid or just the usual cold/flu, order their pho and it'll be gone within the hour.

I usually do not write reviews but the restaurant is so amazing, the food is good especially the pho, very authentic. Very nice friendly staffs, they make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this place! The egg rolls are amazing & not everyone can make good egg rolls but they can!

Uptown Pho is our go-to pho spot in Chicago. They have good broth and the food is consistently fresh and delicious no matter if you're dining in or ordering carryout. We usually order pho, and you get a lot of food for the XL size, but I also like their vermicelli noodle salads, which are refreshing when you're looking for a lighter meal. The spring rolls are also very fresh. The restaurant is a little further away from the major intersection of Argyle, but that also means it's easier to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood streets.

The pho tai nam had the tastiest broth! They have great vegetarian options as well like the tofu curry noodle soup. The tofu bahn mi my partner ordered had caramelized onions which was a nice unique touch! Excited to try the other many menu options. Love the casual vibe there and the family who runs it is very nice.

Best vegan Vietnamese options I've found! After living in Vietnam for a while I came back and was disappointed in most vietnamese fare in Argyle. It's been a few years and I'm vegan now, but Uptown Pho has the best Vietnamese I've eaten in the city. Lotus root salad, tomato tofu, bun chay noodle bowl, lemongrass tofu. It's great! They use fresh tofu from VN Tofu next door which is awesome. Their homemade marinade is awesome. Great flavors and a big vegan standing menu on the tables.

We got ubereats. My bf orderd the XL pho and I got the beef rice noodles. The pho broth was sweeter than we were used to. My egg roll was a little smaller than I expected. Both were very filling. I had 2 meals out of it.

Uptown pho has been my takeout and delivery place for over 2 years, so I decided to try eating at the restaurant for a change since covid is almost over. I'll be honest, I really wanted to like the place. We ordered the pho dac biet (2/5), egg rolls (3/5), spring rolls (4/5) and chicken bun (3/5). Everything was "fine" but nothing stood out. It didn't taste as good as the take out for some reason. And floors were a bit sticky. Will try another place next time I'm in Argyle. Still looking for a achicago viet restaurant that can be as good as Viet restaurants Orange County in Los Angeles... the search continues!
