It was not good. Friend said worst ramen he has ever had and I tased it and I concur it tasted like tomato soup and my chicken Katsu fried rice tasted like Italian food like a chicken marinara. It was very strange. The lunar new year red envelop experience is cool and what we came for but the food was a miss.

I ordered the edamame gyōza as an appetizer. It was pretty good, but it was $6 for only 3 dumplings. For my actual entree, I spent nearly $20 on the tofu Udon. It was easily the blandest dish I've had in Chicago. Ive had better Udon in the country in Tennessee. My partner had the tofu fried rice, and the garlic peanuts they added were the most flavorful part of the dish.
The decor was nothing special, but the music was just Katy Perry and corporate indie pop from 15 years ago.
The service was great, though. I was pleased to see allergy and dietary options on the menu.

Very cute inside and THE most perfectly cooked edamame I have ever eaten. The food came out so quick and was fresh and delicious. Everything was very customizable too if you have food allergies or dietary preferences.

Reviews said this place was good so I went here for ramen on a Monday since Oiistar was closed that day and was honestly very underwhelmed and disappointed. I ordered Korean BBQ beef dumplings and their chicken wonton ramen, dumplings were good but the ramen was very mediocre and not worth the price. My friends ordered the spicy chicken ramen and Korean fried chicken, those who had the ramen received the same criticism I gave and the fried chicken received a positive but underwhelming reaction. I would say save your money on the ramen and maybe give their sides and other dishes a chance if you want to give this place a try as they seem to be reviewed positively.

This is a 3 star chef. He is. And this food is what Asian food is at finest dining establishments in Shanghai or elsewhere. It’s incredible. The best Asian food over ever had in my life. And I eat in international district in seattle 4 times a week.

I have always wanted to try this place and I was finally in the area and made my way in. The staff was very sweet and friendly - even for counter service both staff member that were there came up to me to see how my food was. I would return to try some more of their menu.

This place is really cool! The menu is small, and to the point - I like it. I had the Demon Beef Ramen and the broth was great, loved the addition of fried-crispy ramen on top.

Decided to try this last minute for my girlfriend’s birthday. One of the employees named Steven was awesome and super hospitable. A great employee. Excellent place for ramen and the bao buns were AMAZING. Will be coming back!

The staff are very nice, and the lady who greeted me had great energy.
I tried their spicy chicken ramen dish and was disappointed by how sickly sweet it was instead of savory. It reminded me of store bought sweet and sour sauce. There was no reason to anticipate this flavor profile, and while the taste wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t pleasant either, and it left me feeling heavy in the way corn syrup foods often do.
I would not recommend this place for ramen (especially at this price point) and my friend’s advice echoes in my mind every time I relearn this lesson- never expect decent ramen from a place that does not specialize in ramen.
