I have always had a positive experience eating here the food is great and it fills me up every time. It’s unfortunate other people’s bad personal experiences but don’t let it hinder you from trying some authentic cuisine. Not many places serve coconut rice or even Kalaloo both are delicious here. 🤍💚

Rolled into Vee‑Vee’s African Restaurant for dinner—dropped about $25 on jollof rice with goat meat and a side of plantains. The flavors were on point—rice had that nice spice kick, goat was tender, and plantains were crispy-sweet. Staff was friendly and let me BYOB, which is clutch. Seating was cozy but packed, and wait was decent. Top-tier dinner spot north side—just wish portions were a smidge bigger. Will def be back!
