I love the pizza here but every time I order pizza 30 to 35 mins in advance it’s never ready. I miss my train every time. Seems like all the workers care about is serving liquor and getting to take a shot. Sadly I’m done coming here.

I've driven by Vinny's Pizza Bar many times and I always wanted to visit. Me and my friend were going to go to Slightly Toasted, but we found out it was closed so we stumbled into Vinny's Pizza Bar. Ambiance was very cool as it had a very retro vibe! Pretty sure that they had a Golden Tee in the corner and it had a pretty big bar so Vinny's would be a good spot for Happy Hour after work. We ordered some beers and a pepperoni pizza since I had to rank it. The pizza was better than expected. The crust was chewy with a decent amount of flop. Cheese was solid and oily. I believe they put olive oil on the pie as well. I thought the sauce was a little watery and just ok. The pepperoni was pretty good and I think they put some basil on the pie. Crust: 7, Cheese: 7, Sauce: 5, Toppings: 7, Overall: 6.5. I enjoyed the pie and the price was decent. Overall, I thought Vinny's Pizza Bar had a very cool atmosphere with solid pizza. This would be a great place to grab some drinks and a bite to eat after work or before catching your train!

Overall, it was not a horrible experience just had some things that really weren't done well. The real kicker was when we got there, they told us they were out of dough for their pizzas but still could do single slices. The slices we got were good, but as we were finishing our food, the group next to us got a full pizza. Apparently, they had caught up enough to make full pizzas but never told us they were making more for the night. Our bartender gave 1 of our group the completely wrong beer and then told us way after (not from area so didn't know the difference) then got the next beer wrong for someone else in our group. Very upset at the poor service here.

Really clutch spot in Ogilvie with great food, drinks, and staff! Mark, George, and April are super cool. My coworkers often drop in and are always so welcomed. The Forager pizza is seriously to die for. The music is great. Good vibes. My only complaint is that Vinny's has stopped me from exploring other bars!!

it looked great when we walked in. the special drink was delish and it was all downhill from there. we ordered some meatballs which came raw in the middle. the bartender offered us some shots for the mishap but were not hungry after that. wouldn't go again.

Cozy little place for an after work cocktail. I met up with a new friend on a Friday night and it is a good location because we both take trains (OTC or Union). Even for being the week before Christmas. Service was decent but took a few extra minutes here and there because there was one bar tender for the place and he was also taking care of the tables. Drink menu was good. Didn't look at the food menu though. I would definitely return

This place is a fantastic Chicago Pizza joint. Great cocktails, great beer and wine selection. Pizza is crispy and chewy and the types are amazing. The staff made me laugh and smile so much it almost made my face ache. Like I said, great place.

Google and their website say it's open until 9pm however, the whole building was closed by 7pm on a Saturday night.

Came here for lunch with some coworkers today. I have had public school cafeteria food better than this place The food came out looking and tasting so unappetizing. For a place that has pizza in the name, you'd think that would be their holy grail best dish, but this was not the case. My cheese pizza looked like a giant bagel bite, but not nearly as delicious. In fact, the crust had the faintest taste of hand sanitizer (??). My boss ordered the chop salad with salmon on top for an extra $6; the salmon filet was the size of an AirPods case and she said had a funky taste (red flag!!). Our server was not very kind and the ambiance did not make up for the poor service and food. PASS!

Both times I've been here the service has been bad. And it's one thing to get bad service, but it's an entirely different thing when they discretely add an automatic 22% tip on the check. Don't let yourself get tricked into giving a rude waitress a 40% tip.
