we went there this weekend. The food was amazing and the show even better. Go to laugh and have a blast. My husband even ended up on stage. I highly recommend.

This place was great! If you're looking for a place where you feel like you're stepping back into Prohibition Chicago, this place is it. The food was great. I had the steak, which was seasoned and cooked perfectly, I had a few of their signature cocktail, which were decent, the service was a bit slow but it was a packed house so that is understandable. But overall, definitely something that I will plan on coming back to again. Maybe for their Valentine's Day Massacre show.

We looked for a fun place for a birthday party, and boy! We hit the jackpot.
The atmosphere was pure 1929. Secret password to get past the machine gun-toting mobster and it just kept getting better. Everyone was pure fun. The owner, the bartender, the wait staff, the piano player, and so on, were dedicated to their roles, but most importantly to make sure that everyone felt like they had made a terrific choice how to spend their Friday evening.
It seemed that EVERYONE there had 2-3 roles. They sing, they dance, they tell corny jokes, and they make sure that everyone gets involved (including grabbing "volunteers" for many of their skits). A lady from Wisconsin was at the next table celebrating her 90th birthday with her family, and we brought our 10 year-old granddaughter who loved it as well. Really fun for all ages.
Family owned and operated by an entertainer with over 30 years of acting in movies, TV, commercials, & dinner theater fulfilling his dreams, and having a group of talented young (and not-so-young) people that seemed to be having as much fun as the audience.
Do yourself a favor, get out with your family or friends for some food, some drinks, and a whole lotta good times at Vito's.
Parking: Big lot adjacent to the building - so rare in Chicago, & a huge plus!
Kid-friendliness: Nice, clean, fun show - and they include members of the audience by 'persuading' you to be a temporary cast member, and/or fitting your group into the acts.
Your kids will enjoy and remember it.

show was spectacular but medium ordered steak was well done. salmon was overcooked & dry. Took 2 hours to receive unpleasant meal....but show was great. Kitchen staff needs experience with cooking fish & steak.
