Best thing to happen on Milwaukee Ave in years. Blows posh spots in West loop/river north/bucktown out of the water. Literally nothing on the menu isn’t worthy of recommendation. They served me house-made NA malort and even that was tasty & pleasant somehow. Sincerely designed, thoughtfully run. Can’t recommend it highly enough. The kitsch spaghetti-uh-oh’s cracked me up (but once again- we’re actually an amazing pasta dish….).

This was such a fantastic experience. We ordered the focaccia, risotto, gnocchi, and seasonal sundae. We were impressed with every detail. The pacing of the meal was perfect and the ambiance was moody and laid-back. Highly recommend Void to absolutely anyone who wants inventive Italian.

Pretty underwhelmed honestly. Split an app, entree portions were tiny and average tasting, split a dessert, one drink each, left still hungry, but paid $150 for what felt like an $80 meal. Table next to us was making similar remarks, even ordered an extra mediocre entree. Service was great. I guess we had higher hopes, it was our second visit and left twice feeling like it was way too expensive for what we got.

Loved the interiors. And I loved the idea behind their menu and food in general. Great service, sincere servers willing to talk through the menu and not talk at you.
About the food: i dined alone so i couldn't eat much. Gnocchi was buttery and the sauce tasted really good. Overall it was a great dish but the pasta itself was a little too soft for my taste.
Focaccia was no salty enough. but the crust to bread ratio was actually perfect. not hard to bite but enough to enjoy the crust. but i would suggest a sour touch for the honey garlic butter... with the lack of salt on the focaccia i think it was a little too deep taste for the combination 👍🏼

I enjoyed the Economy as my drink. I am an avid eater of persimmons so I was bought quick. Sadly couldn't taste persimmons enough and tasted too much whiskey. Maybe it is because i don't drink a lot of whiskey cocktails and that's on me. but i think the idea for the cocktail was really good.
Didn't like the wine menu on a first look, but im not that knowledgeable about wine. Saw mostly Italian selection.
Overall a good experience. Heard that they are a fairly new restaurant. so they are doing great by far! Creative menu!

Everything we had was awesome! The spooky Midwest dive bar vibes were perfect for this unique gem. If we lived closer this would be our regular place.

The gnocchi was sooo fluffy! The pork belly was cooked perfectly and I want to try the rest of the menu 🤤

Fantastic cocktails, fantastic food. Spaghetti Uh-Oh's have a great chew, steak was cooked perfectly, and the squash and pork belly apps were extra delicious and elevated.

A warm and welcoming - while still elevated - addition to the rapidly-growing Jackowo neighborhood in Avondale.

Their family-style menu strikes a perfect balance of including Italian staples like chicken parm and lasagna, but each have their own distinct flair that makes them unique and unforgettable.

The Spaghetti Uh-Oh’s aren’t just a gimmick - the homemade pasta and red sauce are top tier, and you’ll be happy to know that the meatballs only *look* like the Spaghetti-Oh meatballs but taste nothing like them.

Do NOT skip the focaccia to start off your meal. Some of the best you’ll have in the city - which is saying something considering its wealth of storied Italian spots.

Service is top tier: professional, knowledgeable, but friendly and approachable. No one is taking themselves too seriously here, which is a refreshing change of pace for such a high quality establishment. Void somehow manages to straddle the line of being a great option for date nights, group dinners, or even family dinners with the little ones.

Oh yeah, and the cocktails are fantastic.

The food here was delicious! My husband and I came and ordered a few cocktails, all amazing and well curated. We also got the focaccia which literally melted in my mouth. For our dinner, we shared the chicken parm and the ravioli. That worked out great because the chicken parm came as is, without a side, strange, but again it worked out with the seasonal ravioli. The service was great, the restaurant itself was nicely decorated. We sat at a table but it would be fun to sit at the large wooden bar next time. Would come again!

Cool new spot on Milwaukee, we stopped in out of curiosity and it was totally worth the visit. Loved the vibes and decor, very cozy spot with fun and delicious foods. Highly recommend the Spaghetti uhohs! Their homemade meatballs were literally melt in your mouth delicious, and don't leave without a nice digestivo, their daiquiris were amazing

Apparently, they thought of themselves as a bar with food, but the food has been very well received, and deservedly so. On a par with the drinks, which are excellent.

We actually had plans to go elsewhere for our anniversary dinner, but they were closed and my spouse and I ended up at the void — what excellent luck! The food and drinks were delicious, and the server was friendly and attentive. The fresh bread was a good sign and it fully delivered!
